i guess most fans aren’t really interested in what is happening at board level or how much players earn. They just want to watch good football that produces results. They would have been very happy with the performance on Saturday had it resulted in a win or at least a draw but deep down they know something is wrong. Giving stupid goals away and not scoring enough is only going to result in a relegation battle. It’s still within Venkys power to turn this poor start into a competitive season but they must spend money on players that will improve the quality of the team.

But you strip away all of them pesky snakes that were also our key experienced heads who could manage games properly and results will go in the opposite direction. Also, Eustace was pragmatic enough to set us up in a way where we could grind out results. Still not entirely sure what Ismael is trying to do. We got the odd thrashing but even under Coyle or that second season under Tomasson with such a young and underfunded teams, it was often frustratingly tight games that kept going against us. At the moment we can put it down to misfortune but it wont be if it keeps happening.
