  1. Past hour
  2. Can you DM me the numbers for the next euro millions? We've not seen enough from Kargbo but on his small cameo he's been half decent. How on earth can you say Sidnei is 'nowhere' near the quality if we've not even seen him kick a ball πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ that did make me laugh like.
  3. George Hirst was, and still is wank!! Just because he was in a team that got promoted and got a few games in the EPL doesn't mean he's any good... I'd be be gutted if we signed Hirst.
  4. Is he proven at Championship and what wages are QPR offering considering that Birmingham were offering 30k was the rumour. Can you say he is worth that wage? standard line from yourself very good post. We got a scout who left Man Utd and we appointed him here and we appointed Dundee United DoF as one of our lead scout You mean George Hirst who JDT couldn't get firing but McKenna did helping them to get 2 promotions.
  5. Standard practice in America sports and the PL is appealing more to the fans over there and don't forget that NBC Sports in America covers PL over there. NBC's owners Comcast owned Sky aswell He need a good experience staff around him and a number 2 who is align with him.
  6. They do! They want to make sure, we are relegated this Season!
  7. I still don't get the discrepancy between peoples opinions on Hyam and Carter. Carter is the one partner that Hyam struggled with, at times as they were excellent together in Hyam's first season. When Carter has played in the last 2 years, he has individually been poor. Hyam had a really good season just gone whilst Carter either was playing poorly or sat on the sidelines, yet the conclusion from that weirdly is that Hyam's reputation hasn't improved, and Carter's hasn't declined. I do think that an experienced head does bring more out of Batth, but I don't get why it's just been concluded that specifically with Carter, it's as if the flaws of them playing together are solely down to Hyam.
  8. Blackpool have made some good signings. Hopefully they get promotion this season.
  9. I know it doesn't fit the narrative, that's why it's never been considered. Playing well as a partnership means complementing each other.
  10. It'll certainly be interesting to see how old Keith does at Brentford. It'll look like a monumentally stupid decision if they go down, as they're in a position now where they'd be attractive to a range of decent, experienced managers. If they stay up and have an OK season then fair enough, it'll vindicate a process which - to be fair to them - has worked really well so far.
  11. That’s a plan from people who have no idea what brings success to a club. You need a solid squad irrespective of age. Promising youngsters should be introduced into a solid first team, not be its entire makeup.
  12. Arguably we’re now in my least enjoyable phase of being a Rovers fan under Venkys - it’s the moment when the Sky Sports Orange Ticker generation get total blinkers and start to totally ignore reality. Kargbo is Dolan’s replacement. He’s worse. Batth is our best centre half. None of our others are close, but Carters our next best option. We can bid for this Polish league CB as much as we want, they won’t sell him cheap and we won’t offer enough money or wages. Sidnei is nowhere near the quality of Travis or Tronstad. De Neve is a total unknown and a gamble. Every single player we sign is the cheap option. Because that’s what Venkys and Pasha do. There won’t be a significant upgrade in any department - because upgrades cost money. The more you try to justify or have false hope into these people the more upset you will end up being. You simply cannot bring success when the MO is to make savings. Improvement costs money.
  13. Honestly can't stand reading any more of thie shit on here. I'm done until the season starts
  14. 10K/WK ceiling, No contract offers with players already on more. Hyam, Tronstad, Travis. Bath the first of many. Ask Suhail. Cheap foreign imports and academy lads. Welcome to the future.
  15. has hyam ever been a leader???he`s been shocking with some centre back partnerships, remember the 0-5 battering at bristol city and the atroticious defending losing 2-3 at hull over christmas in jdt`s tenure
  16. Letting Baath leave is criminal. It just screams that they don’t know what they’re doing.
  17. Today
  18. Good point on partners, it's never considered that it may well have been Hyam bringing out the best in Batth, that wouldn't do.
  19. It's an undisclosed fee, right? I reckon they've just wilfully failed to correct the fee bandied around.
  20. I think the supercomputer is "sending a message to you Rudi" It must have hacked your transfer spreadsheet. https://www.givemesport.com/supercomputer-predicts-final-championship-table-soccer-football/?link_source=ta_first_comment&taid=685d597a5473740001fea197&fbclid=IwQ0xDSwLLwBlleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHivluP3IDEBljG2vOb3cAd6dfNBcmYmQD85f00Pi8D1hxmZPa-FxFZvYs-lS_aem_pCZC8X55xvi7DCDKBjLTgw
  21. Could we all wear Rovers shirts from down the ages (pre 15 years ago),.....could/does anyone know someone who could produce a Loons out stick on that could be stuck over the original sponsor and then you could wear something over it to get in then all reveal it at a given time?
  22. I actually thought Weimann would be a much more useful signing that Batth at the start of last season. I was wrong, although I'mn ot saying Weimann was poor, he did a job. Batth played more games than I expected and for the most part was excellent. I think it's a season too many for Weimann and he's creaking a bit, I'd be surprised if he manages more than 15 or so starts. Batth should have been kept, no question, he seems more robust
  23. I think the 135 / 15 years distinction is a good one. Also because it was only a week or so after our 135th anniversary that these awful people completed their takeover and their regime took the club hostage. So not only is November important as the anniversary of the clubs' founding 150 years ago but also the anniversary of its' darkest day 15 years ago.
  24. Brentford look likely to lose norgaard and mbeuno key players for them. Rookey manager looks like an ince situation.
