  1. Past hour
  2. This is exactly what he needs. A kick on the arse, its time to start produce. We hade the same with some players under JDT who was left out to play with the u21s then coming back stronger.
  3. Selling quality players and replacing them with cheap gambles is what they did when they took over a mid table Premier league side. That relegated us and with the very odd signing it’s what they’ve been doing for 15 years now. They aren’t going to change. For the fans that know we can and have done better than that, it’s a killer.
  4. Correct however most do not want to play in the qualifiers or even the group stages for that matter
  5. Exactly and the real worry is that our tin pot owners are in that league.
  6. Johnny Rivers - The Poor Side Of Town.
  7. Yes they probably would. But to do it with England?. A very long shot I fear.
  8. Tavares replacement for Travis is a massive gamble, which has so far backfired miserably. The sheer numbers of cheap unknown signings from foreign leagues lower divisions replacing proven 1st team players is clear evidence of their transfer policy having zero ambition or any regards to risking the club's Championship status.
  9. I agree but most would rather win a world cup than a champions league
  10. International football has lost it's spark considering 80% of all matches England play are practically walk in the parks.. most would choose the champions league group match over a Euro/WC qualifier against Albania
  11. Be interesting to see the number of chances created
  12. Today
  13. Why would Ferguson be the right appointment?
  14. Alebiosu won our POTM. Not a surprise tbh, he’s been absolutely outstanding and definitely the best pick of the new signings. Has been consistent throughout and hopefully his form can continue.
  15. I imagine we'll be at least 2 down before we have even settled into the game.
  16. Just don't want us to tire too early and end up defending for the last 30 minutes I'd play the slow game and try nick one
  17. Pace and attack or dig in and defend ?
  18. I get the impression from a few quotes from Wharton that he's not that fussed about paying for England
  19. If we are, where I think we'll be by the time venkys have finished us off, Wharton will be able to get a game here when he's in his 50's.
  20. Don't worry, I'm sure there's plans for an action-packed interval between the two matches...
  21. At the moment he looks like a Buckley Mk2 needing a little too much time on the ball before progressing play but I agree that there is a player in there if he adapts to a quicker game pace in the regular congested midfield battleground. Not sure that our midfield would be sufficiently robust for the typical Championship midfield battles with both Tavares and Cantwell in the starting eleven.
  22. Well at least I've stuck my original opinion which was same when it was abandoned Disagree here. We won't agree so we leave it there. Mercer, dont get me any advise. I will have my opinion and make own decisions. Don't need lectures from yourself thanks. Enjoy your day Mercer 👍
  23. Lets hope ranges go for lampard before this fixture... If i had to pick a team: Toth Alebiousu mcloughlin wharton Hedges Miroshita tron hinckman De neve cantwell Gueye Play percentages and for 2nd balls. Make it ugly. I dont like any of our strikers, but we lack any height in midfield or up top. Or put 2 strikers up there and go 352 and give it a go. Does feel like we have a back 3 capable and we do have wingbacks. toth Miller Mcloughlin wharton alebiousu tron hinckman de neve cantwell yuki Andri
  24. I don't mind where he goes so long as he's happy and finishes his career with us. I hope we still have a club by then in a Division that isn't impractical.
  25. And the Derby fans will need to be out of the way to allow for the thousands of fans coming up from Eton. I've heard Boris Johnson and Jacob Rees Mogg are amongst the Eton legends taking part.
