  1. Past hour
  2. An ever increasing turnover plus relatively low losses in previous years.
  3. Netflix, USA merchandise income etc, plus doesn't their new cycle start now they've been promoted ? Meaning they can spend big for now at least.
  4. How can Wrexham make this stack up with financial regulations?
  5. You aren't paying attention to the new club policy here. Best he'll be offered in another year on the same terms or maybe two years at a push but on less and he'll already be aware of this given whats happened.
  6. Zagar and Evans - In The Year 2525
  7. I can’t understand why Root doesn’t have a word in his ear.
  8. I thought that the comments about Millers long throw were a joke about Windy Miller I didn’t realise it was a real thing (I recall fantasy football league doing a Phoenix from the flames skit about it years ago)
  9. Two contrasting styles at the crease now..... Root trying to play a proper Test innings and Brook trying to get himself out almost every ball.
  10. Today
  11. It'll be whichever lightweight Brighton youngster is available from the prem loans that nobody else wanted πŸ₯²
  12. Β£2m and 70k a week for a 33 year old defender who's clearly winding down now that he's got a gig on 5Live as well. I'd say its a terrible piece of business. Good luck to them, at least they have the money to chuck around....just not sure that Coady is a particularly sensible signing if those numbers are correct.
  13. Almost felt sorry for him, but then you remembered he's a massive knob.
  14. Almost feel sorry for Brewster. Touted as the next big thing as a kid in Liverpool, had a serious injury where he probably lost some pace. He then came back with a good loan spell for Swansea. Surprisingly for Liverpool fans, Klopp decided to cash in and he moved to Sheffield United to become their main man for staying up in the Premier League. Flopped completely and has never established or performed their despite staying 4 years. 9 goals in 119 games is an awful return. From being a central striker, he now seems to be deployed in different forward positions. Has looked a broken man at times and move to Derby might to him good without the baggage carried by his big move to Sheff Utd. Probably his last chance to get any sort of decent career.
  15. How will he sign a new deal if he isn't offered one?
  16. I've been down here for over a decade now and once upon a time you could easily walk up as an everyman and buy a season ticket, and unless it was vs. Villa or had a lot riding on it you could easily get individual match tickets too. How times change!
  17. People on fb saying this is a positive as it helps keep the lights on and we get a younger rb, brain washed sheep
  18. Need to sign a winger who can cross - wouldn't have said no to a Sorba Thomas return tbf but he's gone Stoke.
  19. Kieffer Moore is a pretty handy player at this level.
  20. I'm worried about us losing Brittain's crosses, giving Gueye in particular no supply, but perhaps Miller's long throws will compensate.
  21. If Wrexham think over paying on players is going to get them results then they'll soon realise it takes a lot more to climb up the championship. I've spoke about this before, I've a close Wrexham friend who laughs when people think they'll finish top 10 this season. They'll be milling around the bottom.
  22. I also think they might struggle more than people think. Despite scrambling now to get some decent experienced Championship players, their squad is made up of unproven League One/Two players with some old heads that's well passed it. What got them here is not good enough for the next step. They will also find much harder if they continue with their route one style as Championship teams are much better in possession and will tire them out. Birmingham in contrast are in much better shape. They built a good Championship in League One with signings far above that level. They cruised the league and was seemingly untouchable. The core of their squad is good enough and if they maintain the promotion high they might do an Ipswich.
