  2. Forest ban Neville!
  3. Mods, please would you put this in the football section to get more attention. Thanks in advance.
  4. Paul Weller - Have You Made Up Your Mind?
  5. It has always been the same. The better clubs will get the better players.
  6. Unfortunately I feel that even if the current administration was removed by way of Pasha and his chum Rudy getting the boot, and I think that is highly optimistic as unlike Waggott and others Pasha is and always has been a Venky man, and even if after that the owners decided to bring in a competent and trustworthy group of people to run the club, their track record suggests that at best this would be merely a temporary reprieve before they changed their minds, funding, budgets, whatever and the whole thing comes crashing down again due to their decisions and policies. It isn't ever going to work on a medium or long term basis. They just won't allow it.
  7. Today
  8. Terrible decision by Tuchel, Wharton should not be playing under 21's football at any level. First big mistake by the new manager, Wharton is exactly the type of midfield player England are crying out for right now.
  9. I was looking at BYD earlier this week bluebruce, they don't have a NCAP safety rating just yet from what I could see, as i assume they're that new. But the charging speed is impressive. On occasions we charge our car to 100% = 310 miles, but from empty that could take 45mins at most chargers. Fastest we've ever hit 100% mark is 20mins from empty, at a charge station in North Wales. I was talking to a mate in the week who is still concerned we don't have enough chargers and I was telling her that in 3yrs of driving electric I've never once struggled to charge or run out of charge, even when on holiday in the electric charging barren wasteland that is The Lake District.
  10. I don't believe it will neither. As it stands there seems little chance of them selling which will see us carrying on as we are unless something radical happens. Radical in my view would be proper appointments to run the club.
  11. Any business that shows weakness and needing money just to keep going are like a wounded animal and therefore easy pickings in the food chain
  12. It would not surprise me one bit if other clubs tried their luck this summer with low ball offers for our better players - Travis, Tronstad, Brittain et al - and we see them moved on.
  13. It's been 15 years, that just isn't going to happen.
  14. Only a matter of time. Depending what happens with Trav and Tronstad for me, if they stay and go for free next summer then I could see next season being our last being fairly competitive at this level before relegation the year after. If they go this summer and we downgrade the midfield then I think we'll be in all kinds of trouble this coming season.
  15. I see another deliberate relegation on the horizon.
  16. It would be big no doubt about it but we need to remain focused on the real problem. Suhail might be running a bit of misinformation back to them about how the situation is on the ground but he has been and always will be their lap dog. The direction of the club is entirely driven by venkys, Suhail's job is to do their bidding and to shield them from any consequences of their actions. They don't want to get involved in a hands on way, they just want him to carry out their instructions. If/when he is removed they will install another lap dog that will sit, bark and beg on command just like the current on does. After 15 years there's no room for compromise anymore. They have to go.
  17. Be a downgrading summer for sure. Shipping Brittain out for a couple of million and bringing this bloke in for half the fee and cheaper wages would be right up there street.
  18. We stole him for an even smaller pittance less than 7 months ago It is a shitty system, that needs reforming (but likely will not be), but Rovers also take advantage of it too
  19. We took him from Accrington for a small fee. Sadly we are low down in the food chain now and bigger clubs take advantage of this. It really is up to FIFA to clamp down.
  20. I would see him going as another of the cornerstones being removed. If he is removed it will be a victory for the supporters and particularly the coalition and will attract more unwanted media attention. I would love the owners to leave and pray they do but there are no signs that they will so maybe there would have to be a compromise. A start would be employing and listening to people who have the best interests of Rovers at heart including supporters.
  21. As the returning officer for the BRFCS constituency I hereby declare @K-Hod to be our duly appointed & endorsed Coalition Liaison Officer… Good luck in your endeavours…we look forward to hearing about them as appropriate. @glen9mullan FYI
  22. Let's say Gestede left his post. That would be uncomfortable for Pasha.
  23. There have been a couple of major EV innovations in China from CATL, the world's biggest battery producer, and BYD, the world's second biggest battery producer and also a major car manufacturer now. BYD unveiled a car they've made which can charge at 1 MW (1000 KW), which is enough to charge 250 miles in 5 minutes A few weeks later, CATL unveiled a new battery capable of being charged at 1.3 MW, the Shenxing Superfast Charging Battery that can add 323 miles of charge in 5 minutes. This puts EVs pretty close to being on par with combustion cars for topping up. A small enough difference as to not matter when you add in the ability to essentially 'refuel' at home for far lower prices. It means range anxiety will become an irrelevance, even if the technology doesn't go further still. The problem for the time being of course, is the chargers required for these cars. 1 MW chargers do exist in China, I'm not sure if they're installed in the west at all yet, but in both cases there are far too few and the infrastructure will need to be built. But it'll come.
  24. Yesterday
  25. Maybe if we were even attempting to reach the top level then we'd stand a chance of keeping hold of some of these players.
  26. Genuinely why even bother with an Academy? Potentially a top talent? Stolen for a pittance at 16.
  27. What an awesome move for him. Italian football is on the rise again I feel. Plus it's Milan obviously.
