I don’t think that’s entirely true. Yes there are people at the very top who have no idea how to preserve our heritage and little interest in doing so but most of the people working at the club are from the area and many love the club as we do and are trying to keep the heart of the club alive. We just have to hope there are enough of them left when Venkys and Suhail leave. Ignoring the 150th would be more in keeping with Venkys dereliction of duty. The club is not rotten to the core it’s rotten at the top, there are good people there and when they manage something that elevates us above the shitshow even temporarily I’m going to applaud it.

Starting XI last campaign. I’d say we’re weaker at right back, better at left back. Middle 2 the same. Much better in goal. Then the 4 attackers, 2 the same. And it’s JRC and Dolan out De Neve and Ohashi in. All in all the side is very similar to a year ago.

I think kargbo has the chance to be the highest scorer of the entire group. Also think De Neve will get more than 2 if he gets the minutes in that advanced roll. Hedges is who he is, a squad filler. anyhow I’d Expect our front 4 to be De Neve, hedges, Ohashi and Gueye. Not much different than 12 months ago when it was JRC, Dolan, Hedge, Gueye.

Are you going to pay the legal fees? People speaking out is sensitive, its their livelihoods. It takes very brave people to come forwards and requires a significant amount of trust. Papers won't run with stuff when they do have the evidence in black and white due to legals. I've personally in the past provided documents to local and national press, whose editors won't risk running the story's, which has frustrated the journalist, who has wrote the story Leaked emails etc, always needs consideration to be handled delicately. Line the ducks up and ensure you get good legal advice. I cant emphasise how bad it is at the training ground in particular. Contrary to popular belief Gestede is the most hated man there, even more than Suhail. Long serving employees 10, 15, 20, 25 plus are exiting left right and centre and he's the route cause. One employee, I talk to weekly who is pre-venkys stated its the worse its been at any point in his Rovers career. We've got s ship people want off, and no amount of PR is going to mask it. People are willing to talk and some maybe about to on record too. I cant say much more. Nowadays I avoid transfer stuff as its not worth hassle, but the clock is ticking on things the ciub wont want public!!!! Whilst I don't necessarily agree with it I can understand why they might be reluctant to sanction new deals for Batth and Weimann at their respective ages. Travis is at a peak sort of age though and not to agree terms with him is lunacy. A decision that imo will cost us dearly by season end but then again so will not having a decent Dolan replacement or enough firepower etc. You can go on and on.

The club didn't want to pay contracts of 10k pwk or more to them i assume. If Suhail is saying spending big money doesn't guarantee higher league position you can bet the thinking is same with the wages. I thought Ipswich were shocking. No shots on target before that penalty that never was. If that's handball the game's gone. One of the other Ipswich players was a good yard or two inside the area when the penalty was struck as well. No way they're amongst the favourites to go up automatically on that showing. Birmingham looked decent enough. Probably a good bet for top 6. Hopefully being pegged back in such unfortunate circumstances will have derailed their momentum a bit for when they face us.
