  1. Past hour
  2. You mention Sky Sports Subscription going up, when I renewed my Sky TV contract it was down by small amount but still reduction. gives fans options on what games. Alot of fans last season and past season were complaining about not being able to see their team being played on TV given it was moved for for whatever reasons. Now they listened and decided to put them all on TV for the fans. Yesterday, I picked the wrong 2pm game to watch and I found the Chelsea game boring to watch. Expected better. No this again RF99. I have said previously I have no interest paying more for TNT Sports subscription than for my Sky Sports Subscription plus Sky Sports have the sports I wanted to watch like PL football, EFL, F1, cricket, NBA and Darts. TNT doesn't and it is that simple. You don't pay for either Sky Sports or TNT subscription I believe so please keep coming on with your high horse comments again The PL has become exactly what they wanted and its popularity just keep growing and growing. Its a global brand but without the TV rights and sponsorship most clubs would be screwed, that how clubs make the baulk of the money apart from Transfer sales. Fair points but alot of that is down to Ownership decisions and I don't what the FA or EFL can do legally. probably cos they expected a season of ups and downs given Frank has gone plus some key players have moved on or will do so. Plus I guess they are being over judgemental on Keith Andrews after one game like plenty of people would be
  3. I'd stick with the same 11 if we can do (Alebiosu potentially injured?) You could make a case for starting Gueye over Ohashi but I think the rat should stay the same. Actually a shame that Forshaw isn't available, as I think subbing him on for Tavares might have just got us a point or even a win against Birmingham.
  4. Not at all, all I asked was would you like to see Gestede succeed ? I wasn't being smart, it's just that some never even gave him a chance right from the off, in fact he was getting grief before he'd even started. I'm certainly hoping he knows what he's doing football wise.
  5. We're under a Venky restriction
  6. nice to see they kept the 100% going for the club lost every game at all levels wonder if the u21 will break the duck tonight
  7. It does depend on what your idea of success is, I'd say play offs, the question is how long they get.
  8. It really isn't a difficult question to answer.
  9. Was the FF meeting not before his departure was announced?
  10. This is our club ❀️ You can f#@k off, Pasha. When Arsenal met Benni McCarthy:
  11. Another feather in the cap from the Venkys and Suhail. Gone from a team producing European champions to losing against teams no one has ever heard of. All because they won't give the women's team roughly the amount of money they spent on Dennis, one of the worst ever signings in the history of the men's team.
  12. I just watched it and can confirm it is very good. If anyone is interested in what happened with the minutes, then all is revealed in the second part.
  13. Today
  14. no it`s does`nt, but not spending also puts you at risk of relegation, especially when other clubs in the division are indeed spending, this clown is supposed to be a "business man " is`nt he
  15. 1 hour and 45 minutes!? Chaddy won’t have time to watch all that 🀣
  16. Nothing in football guarantees success but as you say a lot guarantees failures
  17. Yes and since then of course Suhail let his views slip in the FF by saying spending doesn't necessarily guarantee success. ** So what Gestede said is probably basically correct. **Maybe it doesn't but not spending over an extended period of time is an absolutely 100% guaranteed way to fail.
  18. I think where we are right now with strategy is the owners would rather finish 14th but have a higher squad value due to young players who can be resold than finish 7th with older players coming to the end of their careers. Is a strange place to be as a competitive football club.
  19. What Is Gestedes idea of success here tho? Staying in the division? Hoping to hit the jackpot with a few bargain basement signings to make a few million profit to lessen the money required from the owners to keep the club running? To develop some players from the academy to sell at the earliest opportunity? Imo he isn't here to try help build a team that can get us promoted. Promotion is not on the agenda here. Broughton might not have been very good at his job but imo he wanted the club to progress and wasn't just looking at saving the owners a few quid
  20. He was the best one i can recall in recent times although i think JDT did ok at first. Thing is with Eustace he wasn't listening to the club rhetoric he was only really bothered about results, hence why they wanted rid.
  21. Eustace seemed to do ok with that in the first half of last season.
  22. I'm sure Gestede said the same thing in the Allardyce podcast. Eddie put him under a bit more pressure with his questioning and he blurted out "My job is to make sure academy players develop so we can sell them" Going off both those podcasts he is an absolute clown." The fans should be happy we have a team to play on a Saturday and Tuesday night"
  23. If we ever had a head coach who was good at subs and game management it would gain another 5-10 points per season. Always get the impression that getting players on the pitch to gain mins and increase in value sometimes trumps common sense reactions to what's actually going on out there and occasionally its bitten us on the arse.
