Am I imagining things but up to and including JDT, wasn't unleaded very supportive of the Head Coach and extremely anti the regime and very critical of the way the recruitment department operated ? (Which I agreed with) But ever since Eustace came in it seems that in unleaded's eyes, everything Eustace wanted to do was wrong and everything Gestede and Owen etc do or want to do is right? I’d have been furious at the time if we’d kept the centre halves back for that corner, or if we’d played it short to run down the clock. No issues with us pushing for the winner. However, the abysmal delivery and terrible positioning from the corner are just another two in the long line of examples where we get the very basics wrong. Aside from when Miller came in we conceded possession almost immediately from every single throw we had (been going on for years). John Buckley seems to be the only player in our squad that can play a good dead ball with any degree of consistency. Whenever I see us have a corner I always think we’d be so easy to defend against. I noticed on Saturday that our head physio was taking the shooting drills with the subs in the warm up, laying them off. Pretty sure this used to be David Lowe’s job. While Andy Procter is an ex pro (unlike other members of our coaching staff), I’m not sure why this has fallen to him. Definitely suggests we are short on coaches.

Absolutely... if anyone wanted an insight into the lengths and depths this regime will go to to arse cover and deflect the blame those two sorry, shameful recent episodes in our history are up there with the best of them. We've had a very high turnover in players over the years and yet the only ones that face 'admin errors' are those that require the club to commit to substantial costs. Convenient. Another example of this club apparently facing 'issues' and 'difficulties' and 'strange things' that no other club ever comes up against. They are good at lying. I think most sensible people can work out there's a pattern here and it all leads back to the regime. They must think the fanbase is totally stupid. But then again with the views of some supporters and an ever compliant local media lining up to swallow and regurgitate whatever rubbish they serve up I can hardly blame them for trying.

I would now what? I don't understand what you're saying there. Every signing we have made so far is pretty much a replacement for an outgoing player. No stock piling there. Most people on here are saying we need a RW and a Striker, and then a Trav replacement, and I think that's entirely fair. The striker would essentially be a replacement for Weimann. The RW is a spot we are clearly lacking in as we only have one recognised right winger, and then the Trav replacement is again (drum roll).....another replacement. Again, not really stock piling is it. 🙂 I haven't even said we should be stock piling, I don't think anyone else has either(?). You're the one who said "we can't keep stock piling players" as though that's what the club have been doing. My point was simply this - the club haven't been stock piling anything. I don't think the concept of needing to get rid of players when you bring new ones in is anything anybody disagrees with, but you're the one who said "we can't keep stock piling players", which I found to be an odd statement to make given we haven't. 🙂

Derby should pay what we want for the said player. Like we should do to other clubs for there players instead of crying that everything is too hard and "strange".

A problem a lot of other club fans have is that they project their experiences on ours. Which is fair enough as any normal (I.e they face economic reality in the end) owner, with good intentions or nefarious would’ve given up the ghost by now. Sheff Wed will be rid of theirs in the medium term. As were Birmingham, as were Cov, as were Reading. This lot however, don’t seem to care about the economics, or football, or abuse. Nothing.

I sincerely hope the manager, does not experience the frustrations that JDT and Eustace did, with players apparently signed,, but then a mystery wayward E Mail or late E Mail, scuppers it. It is only a difficult market, when you are searching in the bargain bucket, or do not have enough money to attract the right quality. All other teams, seem to be doing okay.

If nobody else was signing players, the description of the market would stack up. But when Saturdays opponents who are under a transfer embargo can bring in (on paper) better signings than us then you have to question things.
