  1. Past hour
  2. That's a shame 😂😂
  3. Scratch that. Derby losing now!
  4. What a week-end Rovers win, dingles drop into the relegation positions, Liverpool stuffed at home.
  5. Liverpool losing 3 nil to Forest at Anfield
  6. The very same happened in the 70s, Mounted police charging into us
  7. Bet this wouldn't be on page 2 if we'd lost. Anybody willing to change their opinion on him? He's doing a great job for me, fully expected this team to be relegated after a chaotic summer. I think we'd be screwed if he left, not many managers would want this job right now.
  8. Derby winning again, into the top 6 they are at the moment. Not deal that Portsmouth are winning, equally so Oxford drawing with Boro currently. Norwich getting smashed at Brum.
  9. Today
  10. I wasn't aware that they were there last night but I know they attended the Burnley game at Ewood last season. The backstory, from what I hear is...a group of Zwolle ultras have formed a friendship with a group of Rovers fans who call themselves "Blackburn Youth". The latter have been over to Holland to watch Zwolle with their new Dutch pals and vice versa. It seems like the Zwolle fans might be picking the Burnley and Preston games to attend as they expect things to 'get tasty'. It's not like that in reality though, which is obviously a good thing. Below is footage from this linkup at Ewood last season, when the Zwolle fans were in the corner of the Riverside near the Darwen End. I can see why the police were wary last night:
  11. I think it’s more to do with the fact that contracted players can only be signed in the transfer windows nowadays. Back in 1993, David Batty signed on October 26 and played on October 30. Colin Hendry, if I recall correctly made his debut on the day he signed.
  12. Was worried about him in this game but he did great and was well covered as well to be fair. Needs to be kept involved now because we'll need a natural replacement in the squad for whichever of Wharton or Carter is moved on in summer. Still need to sign another experienced CB though.
  13. A good summation. PNE should have had at least 1 sent off. Their number 10 really should have gone late on for a studs up challenge on I can't remember who's calf. Pears is still Pears. Toth being out is not good.
  14. Easier job for them, leave them to kick each other to death.
  15. Ismael states in the LT, he won't be frightened playing youth from the academy. Look what happens when you do, Pratt had the game of his life against Preston. Well done Valerian Ismael, Fergie 2 in the making.
  16. Seen a few Preston fans saying there was a mass brawl on Moor Park afterwards and moaning about the police diverting fans into each others paths.
  17. I believe WATR have a 135/15 leaflet they produce a few weeks back.
  18. True but he was also a lazy little barsteward who probably became a millionaire overnight with his vastly elevated move here. Wasn't prepared to do the graft.
  19. I never felt more like singing the Blues, The Rover win, the burnley lose, Oh Rovers, you’ve got me singing the Blues.
  20. 3-2 Coventry now. WBA had a man sent off which completely turned the game on its head.
  21. They have goal line technology in this league so it was never in doubt. We beat them back in January too.
  22. 7 games before Christmas, 5 of them at home - not sure if that’s a good thing this season 😂 5 of the 7 are also bottom half sides, 4 of them below us in the table - again not sure if that’s a good thing this season!! Either way, I think it’ll be an interesting month for us, we have a really good chance to push on to the edge of the playoffs - we’d be set in 11th if the Ipswich result held, and beaten all 3 relegated teams. 7 games in 22 days though including yesterday, the squad can’t take many more injuries!
  23. I think you are being a bit hard on Jackson. He has been critical of the right things in my view-certainly over the last year or so.. I think it was Gallacher's "hindsight" comment that got to me. Let's be honest. You didn't need to have been a Scottish Nostradamus to have predicted SW and HC's absence! Suhail and Gestede are getting away with murder, as well as their gaslighting. Do they think we are all f**** stupid?!
  24. we`ve let duru to go and play in the sunshine,no idea what that idea is about
  25. had a bit of a watch back of the highlights - Their goal is an absolute shambles from start to finish, but it's kicked off by three of our players going to challenge for the initial header from the long kick and pretty much all getting in each others way. My best guess is that it came from an instruction to support/look out for Pratt, if they had left him to deal with it then either he'd have won the header or, if he doesn't, the covering players wouldn't be out of position and it doesn't become such a scramble. This is the danger of playing a young lad on his debut, and it's a shame because it wasn't really his fault and he looked very solid otherwise. Yuki is genuinely very unlucky, he draws a lot of fouls that don't get called and seems to force a lot of good saves. If a couple of goals go in you fancy him to go on a bit of a goal scoring run. Pears is not particularly good, but he's also not the sunday league reject we occasionally make him out to be. The team, in general, is improving. Some of the players, particularly the new lads, are developing a good understanding on the pitch. Yuki/Morishita/Alebiosu and Gudjohnsen all work well as a unit. I wish we had a settled partner for Tronstad though. Maybe it will be Baradji, but far too early to tell from the cameo yesterday.
  26. We're mainly short at CB (due to injuries - albeit you always want at least 5 CBs on your books) and RWB. Pickering and Ribeiro aren't WBs, they've both been left out to dry in this formation. Likewise, we have nobody to back up Alebiosu at RWB. I think CM will sort itself out - if Baradji can actually tackle that is.
  27. It's about time Ohashi learned some dark arts.. He has plenty of opportunities to go down and win freekicks, which is largely the only way to get them in the Championship, he could have easily had Small booked last night. Instead he stands and kindly looks at the ref, he did it so often against Derby staying up when he's clearly been fouled.... then asks for the freekick nicely as the game moves on, he makes it too easy to say no to and consequently is becoming a bit of a rag doll for defenders to see what they can get away with.
