Nah you're wrong there tbf he has good stas for headers won, only Hyam better last season. He was probably amongst the better strikers in the league on that front. However, it is a deceiving stat, Sam Gallagher appeared to be useful if you just looked at aerial duals won because half of them went to absolutely nobody. There's winning headers and there's winning useful headers and making things happen, Gueye is useful at this IMO. -
Adam Wharton

it took me 30 minutes to see that adam was special,he was playing against blackpool away and as an 18 yr old in his first full game he gave seasoned pro`s the absolute runaround, they could`nt get anywhere near him -

No, but we all know the club will be reading this, (hi Rudy!) So I dare say they'll be scrambling around asking the question. -

It's hardly ever played in to his head in fairness. We have terrible wingers delivery wise on both sides. I'd hate to be a tall striker at Rovers. It looks like we've also downgraded the crossing delivery from fullbacks on the right significantly too. We need to spend good money on a right winger ASAP! Far too much messing about on these positions in terms of allocating cash, or lack of. Striker, Winger and an athletic Centre back still needed. They need to write some proper fees. -

Thatโs very kind of you to say so, thank you. ๐ I hope, if my interpretation is right, that the club is aware - I fear that they wouldnโt be. -

I find yours and Kent's knowledge on this breathtaking. A lot of it's going straight over my head. Do we think anyone at the Club would have the faintest idea of what you're on about? -
The bit in bold is interesting as it could theoretically apply to our owners and the conduit too, if true. What I mean is, there was news of a so called falling out between the owners and Kentaro around 2011/12-ish and that the dispute was going to be taken to court. It was eventually settled out of court around 2013. That was the last we heard on that and the Venky's- Kentaro link apparently soured at that point. Assuming that to be true, why then did we choose to appoint managers and sign a few players connected to a Kentaro offshoot for years AFTER the above dispute between Venky's-Kentaro? Is it simply that the owners had no idea that the offshoot were close to the very people they 'fell out' with? (which is where the bit in bold could apply) Or is it that they left it to their trusted conduit here to handle matters? The conduit, not knowing how the game works, but having past friends and agent connections who could help him? Or him not knowing the backgrounds of the new agencies sat before him? If Kentaro had 143 agents in their stable, it's fair to say that even an experienced football operator might not know or recognise all of them. Never mind a non footballing man well out of his depth at a club that is too big for him to handle. Whatever it may be, official FA Agent documents show that we sold four players from 2016-2024 for a combined ยฃ18m. On each of those four deals a former SEM-Kentaro agent represented the club during the four exits. The last one was in 2024. Last year. Also, a loan signing we made last year...the agent that sat on the deal is a former Kentaro consultant. Now, I don't know how this works. Does an agent offer their services to a club by saying they can help the club out in such an instance i.e a player sale, purchase etc, and the club either accepts or turns the offer down? Or does a senior person at a club choose an agent to represent the club in a deal? If we are to assume that the agency stuff is all conspiracy, as many do, and that all of this is nothing more than clueless owners thousands of miles away who aren't arsed about football and an equally clueless conduit who knows nothing about the game, both showing themselves to be out of their depths, fair enough. It has some logic to it. However, there have been many coincidences that have popped up since 2010 and are still popping up to this day. At some point people start noticing these coincidences and patterns, especially when they keep pointing in the same direction.

I notice lots of people talking about utilising Gueye's aerial ability. It might be just me, but I don't think he wins anywhere near enough headers given how tall he is. -
If the people at the academy could not see that Adam Wharton was a special player at youth level, then they are in the wrong jobs.

there are loads of brainwashed fans, the protests will only be effective if we start losing every week, even then it would be limited to a few hundred,it would only main momentum if it went completely **** up and we got relegated then struggled in league one, maybe that will happen, the state of the incomings this season may well hasten our departure from the championship,it`s a clear downgrade,no matter what the happy clappers say -

We could do a leaving early version of that. Perhaps the Riverside could lead the way. ๐ -
I've always said the dream England midfield is Wharton as the anchor rice as box to box and Bellingham as attacking midfield. I can't get enough of Wharton. I love watching him play. I watch Palace games just see him play.

Oh I believe it was said, I just get pedantic about stuff like that buddy.

They are basically gathering evidence and preparing for the IFR going live at the moment. But these people are very likely to become the โactualโ regulator in due course so it will be very useful to brief them/him on our travails.

Quote from him from the last FF in the "real" minutes I think. Anyone only has to watch him for a game or two to see that he's a more or less unique talent in that he knows who is going to pass to well before he receives the ball and pulls it off effortlessly. He doesn't need to slow play down by bringing the ball under control first or take a second or two to weigh up his options. Never seen a player quite like him in that respect. Nearest was Tugay. And sideways backwards never take a risk plodder Tyler Morton goes for ยฃ15m. If he'd come through Rovers Academy and not Liverpool's, no-one would even look at him twice

โSs stated that no one knew Wharton would be a good player at youth levelโ Is the quote in the minutes. Youโd need someone from the forum to tell us whether there was any doubt about the context it was said in.
