Good, available loan players are out there. Rovers have just seldom been ambitious* enough to go for them. In 2021 Lincoln City had Brennan Johnson AND Morgan Rodgers on loan - contributing 17 goals and 7 assists. Half of the current Enlgand squad have been on loan to the Championship in their development. 2021 was ironically that was our ambitious year with Harvey Elliott, but we always seem to unearth the Rakeem Harper, Leighton Clarkson and Clinton Mola type loans vs the ones who consistently propell teams to greatness. * - by "ambitious" I obviously mean too cheap!
