  1. Past hour
  2. I have a leaked image of the budget for a winger
  3. Very quiet again on the transfer front this last 48 hrs. Despite 'having a budget' for this right winger, it's almost as if we have to sell somebody before we can get him...
  4. It has happened - can't remember who when at the moment.
  5. Need to open the Darwen Upper. Pasha- "Nobody knew Birmingham were Big Club" If Eustace wanted Travis, he would have bid by now.
  6. Pears, Buckley & JRC were all signed up to decent contracts before Venkys curbed their spending (even more) during the summer of 2023, so that's almost certain that cost is the main driver to then being pushed out rather than a desire to improve upon them For that matter so were Travis, Hyam, Brittain, Tronstad, Wharton, Carter & even Hedges The only anomalies in that regard have been renewals for Szmodics, Adam Wharton, Pickering & Ribeiro (half of who are no longer here), and the signing of Cantwell
  7. Iโ€™d snap their hands off. Our lot will over 50p and a mars bar
  8. We won the league at Anfield, And then the Worthy cup, We were the pride of Lancashire, Then Venky's fucked it up. They gave our club to agents Let Pasha run the place. And all they've got in return. Is a snowball in the face. Allez, Allez, Allez ........
  9. A player on a decent wedge, but looking like they will largely be sat on the bench? Out ya go! ๐Ÿ‘‹
  10. Its one thing to push for a move but it gets to a point that as the buying club I'd not want that kind of character round the place for fear that he'll just down tools at any given moment. Of course as Rovers fans it would be a novelty if there was a player willing to go on strike to join us.
  11. Mainoo is better as an attacking midfielder
  12. Donโ€™t really know tbh just going off quite a lot of what their fans are saying which is if they have โ€˜xโ€™ amount left of their budget they needs wingers and right back but I do think Eustace will be pushing hard yes they seem to have a lot of injuries and re-occurring injuries to some
  13. Isak refusing to play for Newcastle again. Player power is now out of control. If it had been any club other than Newcastle I would have felt sorry for them
  14. He does get out to silly shots at daft times in games but I think the first part of your critique is a tad harsh. I do know what you mean though, he's a frustrating bugger.
  15. Jack Vale, James Brown and Joe Nuttall amongst the players still looking for a club.
  16. Sure but sounds like they need the midfield bolstering in some way. Eustace will be pushing hard for Travis.
  17. Eustace ball, I don't miss his style of play.
  18. Today
  19. Travis isnโ€™t that ball controlling midfielder which is their fans concern and I tend to agree either or heโ€™s off anyway
  20. 20 touched in 70 mins from a midfielder is abysmal. I'd be going for Trav, too.
  21. Sounds like Bradford will be fielding a rotated team too Alexander added: โ€œI believe weโ€™ve got more than 11 good players. Weโ€™ll have to see the physical output from Saturday and the condition of those who played. โ€œBut I think weโ€™ve got good players ready to come into the team and help with the performance. โ€œIโ€™m not just going to flog the same 11 week in, week out and not use the squad to its fullest if I can help it. There will perhaps be a couple of changes to the team but I donโ€™t think it will diminish the quality at all.โ€
  22. Rovers don't feel ready for the long slog ahead, and more like an experiment / work in progress (oh, I remember, it's a project....)... Anyway, I have no idea who plays for the Bantams these days, but I anticipate they will be gunning for a Championship scalp here, and we are well placed to provide that on a plate. Not hearing anything positive coming from our camp, so the sad reality is we have already capitulated and are anticipating an early exit from the league cup (whatever it is called these days). Whatever the score, the faithful will trudge complacently up Livesey Branch Road muttering oaths and pining for the Fjords. Predictions? Buzzing Bantams Bulldoze Bewildered Blues - Rovers 0 (eh, where's the net?) Bratfurt 4 Rovers Resistance Rolled Rather Regretably - Rovers 1 Bradfud 1 - Bantams nick it on Penalties 4-5 Gulf in Class but Rovers win anyway... - Rovers 2 Bradfedup 1 - Tyon brace on 90 and 93 minutes after Bantams lead from 3rd minute.. COYB!
  23. Think they have problems in midfield according to this report: But the numbers told the story - Stoke completed 381 passes to Derby's 125, controlling the game through an industrious midfield. Stoke midfielders Lewis Baker, Bae Junho and Ben Pearson dictated play with composure and bite, while Derby's central trio couldn't match their control. Kenzo Goudmijn was peripheral with just 20 touches in 68 minutes, Liam Thompson was busy but ineffective and captain Ebou Adams showed energy but lacked influence. Carlton Morris's fine finish came from Derby's only truly cohesive move. David Ozoh's introduction after 68 minutes injected some presence as he won key tackles, came away from duels with the ball, and showed why, if he stays fit, he could be a pivotal figure. This wasn't a poor performance, but it was a revealing one. In the Championship, matches are often decided in midfield, and Derby lack proven operators in that area when injuries hit.
  24. 1-1, lose on pens. Thatโ€™s conditional on us playing the team Ismael seems to want to field.
  25. Thatโ€™s the weird thing according to their fans they arenโ€™t for a cm they are desperate need of wingers and a right back this one seems a Eustace push
