  1. Past hour
  2. Think they have an owner who knows what's happening regarding the day to day running of the club
  3. How come Hull can sign a guy like Mcburnie but we can't ? It doesn't make sense until you factor in he's 29 and will want at least 10 grand a week which means these lot would rather take a punt on a 5k a week younger player with zero pedigree in England. Then wonder why we carry almost no threat up front unless one of the Japanese lads is through on the counter.
  4. Anything free in the pipeline? I feel like providing exposés to Elliott Jackson might be doable after how the club has dismissed the Telegraph. Maybe even Henry Winter or David Conn?
  5. I'm sure you'd get plenty of willing donors to chip in without announcing any plans. A simple promise that something is coming would have people put their hands in their pockets giving to a go fund me page or something similar.
  6. Lots but as per my other post, we are gonna need funds
  7. We are getting into the realms where a fighting fund is gonna be required. A lot of things been bounced around last few weeks but without funds it gets difficult. In years gone by its been myself and a few others using our money but this is not sustainable. Protest are going to return. There's no doubt about it and we need to maximise every one of them with impact. We'd need a volunteer to lead any fund and we'd need to be a little more discreet on some of the things we want to do, as broadcasting on the net is like telling the burglars when we are out.
  8. The thing that really surprises me is how the fan base, often maligned, has stood up until today, despite being dragged through the mud for 14yrs. If we draw Man Utd or Liverpool in the FA cup, Ewood is sold out, look at our away support, almost 1500 to Charlton at the weekend, superb effort by the fans. Sadly this can’t go on forever in my eyes, we need change, ownership change and quickly or another generation is lost.
  9. Today
  10. Not to mention their bank accounts.
  11. I am pretty sure, we won't get an explanation from the club, as they did their level best to stick to the ones they accepted, which, according to Glen's version, were nothing like accurate. These have been published on here, along with the other two versions, but if anyone wants all 3 drop me a PM. It is yet another ideal opportunity for the LT this, as it is a story with the Headline reading something like: Blackburn Blackout We are gagged, and the fans are Gagged, so why do the power brokers at the club feel the need for this?
  12. That suggests the bookies think it is less likely now which doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
  13. Genuine question, have the coalition got anything cooking other than the statement put out the other day? The nose-diving of results coupled with the LET debacle should mean there is plenty of momentum to run with.
  14. There is a time for holding your nerve and sticking with something in the belief things will turn around. Then there is a time for making things change by trying something different. For me, we are in the second of those. The tactical approach this season isnt working. I would try something different to take control of a significant slump. That's an important part of a managers job and I think he needs to take meaningful action, now. But I agree that the team and formation above is probably what he will stick with again. 2-0 Stoke.
  15. Shearer could have scored goals in any side. Watch some of our matches from 95-96 back. Multiple rabbits pulled out of the hat.
  16. AK47? More like a water gun with a leak.
  17. Didn't take long this season but it's back to being an absolute chore supporting this club. That's not what it's supposed to be like. We desperately need Venky's to sell, I'm totally fed up with this shit. The club needs a complete restart/rebuild under new ownership, one that actually has the best interests of the club at heart. Venky's Out!
  18. Too many seeing rovers as an opportunity to fastrack their KOREA'S , With no genuine affiliation or interest in the club's rich heritage
  19. He was a 1 trick pony that was quickly found out in a game, he'd then fade out of the game completely. Now he doesn't even attempt to use his pace and has become incredibly lazy.
  20. Completely out of his depth. End of.
  21. Great. I'd love multiple postponed/abandoned games so the EFL have a nightmare with scheduling. Might encourage some sanctions
  22. Storm Amy due over the weekend with heavy rain Saturday! 😳
  23. I like him. Decent defensively and likes to attack and put in dangerous crosses. Works hard, doesn't shirk tackles or commitments. No cover that comes remotely close to replacing his attributes if he's injured or suspended though.
  24. If you are not going chase the ball down when you lose it then you shouldn’t wear the shirt. Thats the basics we expect from our players, don't get me started on his ability because he is way off a Championship footballer
  25. Another lazy trope to throw out there to hide the fact our strikers aren't good enough. Look at the side a couple of years ago, nearly as bad as this one but we had a genuine finisher up front who could score goals. We don't score goals because our forward players aren't very good.
