  1. Past hour
  2. “Will probably get more than 400 angry comments which ironically is 100 more than the average attendance. All these angry fans who haven't even been to one womens game. Good business decision. The costs were gonna go to 600k.” some fan of twitter’s just said this. We deserve this, happy clapping our way into non existence.
  3. The coalition barely have time to reload with amount of ammo the club keep giving them.
  4. the club is`nt marketed well at all,men or womens side,it appears they hold fans in disdain
  5. Voluntarily relegating yourself. The kind of thing you see at fourth tier rugby because it’s too much travel and expense for an amateur operation. But the absolute antithesis of professional sport.
  6. We have no money to buy anyone with so unless its some freebies or loans I wouldn't expect anything until the court case in August.
  7. "By transitioning into a lower tier, the club can continue to support competitive football in a structure that is community-based and financially viable, " Why do I get the feeling this isn't just talking about the women's team.
  8. Personally not bothered about women's football but says a lot about the dire financial situation the club currently is in.
  9. August 22, 1959 Blackburn Rovers - Fulham 4-0 Derek Dougan of Blackburn Rovers has his shot saved by Fulham goalkeeper Tony Macedo Bryan Douglas of Blackburn Rovers (left) competes for the ball with Fulham goalkeeper Tony Macedo Ally MacLeod of Blackburn Rovers is challenged by George Cohen of Fulham Fulham goalkeeper Tony Macedo concedes a goal Blackburn Rovers goalkeeper Harry Leyland (left) attempts to claim the ball under pressure from Jimmy Hill of Fulham
  10. Clubs a joke riverside now gone up by £80 to £379 JW upper outer to £499 Wont be many takers now but the chadster will put the club spin on the big price hike This is absolute madness they are taking the piss big time
  11. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/may/20/club-update--blackburn-rovers-women/?fbclid=IwY2xjawKZkApleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHhAJRanbeipyL3anNuCveQjZtV4wFfa63XST0FSs2ncHcZdD_Wxbk8G564Oq_aem_gnIfHbM6y0gWfbVN66QBxg Confirmation from the club.
  12. does`nt val want transfer business to be completed in time for pre season training😂😅😆
  13. They're about to reap the whirlwind. You don't mess with Women's football, they're a militant lot.
  14. well it`s finally confirmed ,the facebook mob and let happy clappers will have to admit it,waggot is a lieing toad.most fans with a brain cell had it figured out years ago tbh
  15. Shaft them for doing something illegal? If it's such a burden they should sell the club - nobody with any sense wants them here.
  16. Apart from being on the shirts and plastered around the stadium. So we presume that VHPL is owned soley by the Rao's ? Which would fit into the they call all the shots and can never be questioned by anyone here or in India narrative.
  17. Today
  18. It seems not, according to an announcement just made
  19. My ex-wife ended up with my Hornets shirt from the Div2 promotion season of the early 90's! She did look v good in it TBF!! Was tempted to ask for it back when we split but didn't. Wish I had as it was pretty much the classic style - mainly blue with the narrow white and wide red hoops.
  20. On the shareholder thing just need clarify the owenship structure. Assuming by shareholders you are referring to those of Venkys India Ltd which is a public company listed on the stock exchange in which VHPL own a large proportion of the shares. VHPL is 100% privately owned and owns VLL (amongst numerous other companies) which in turn owns BRFC. Venkys India Ltd has nothing directly to do with Rovers. I posted a link a while back to the latest ratings agency report on VHPL which gives an insight into its structure, borrowings and cash position. It's rating is A+++ with extremely strong liquidity.
  21. Absolute managed decline due in large part to the imbeciles they pay to run the club who do not have and never will have the experience or gumption to take it in any other direction but shrinkage.
  22. Won't be for long though he's no stranger to the treatment table.
  23. Damien Duff wasn't a Rovers fan. He just enjoyed his time here. And had played, and shone, in a World Cup. He won Ireland's player of the tournament award, and for me was one of the very best left wingers in the world at that time.
