Could it be Todd back in the team tomorrow. You never know. Val saying he has made progress and not ruled him out. -

Has the experience which I would prefer. Lewis miller can possibly hold chair with his physicality perhaps. Letโs see what happens -

No chance. We have forshaw and Montgomery plus Gardner Hickman has returned from suspension. Moussa will be eased in. No rush. -

Trondstad got an nasty tackle in the game against Preston, then we scored. Now hes missing four games. I would play same team as against Preston but put TGH in for Trondstad. That means we will rely on Pratt and Kirsti one again but with Elias Chair running we need a runner in Kirsti to take him on. Dont think Forshaw is the right answer there but I may be wrong. -

I also think i'd be tempted to put Forshaw in for Tronstad for a bit of calmness and experience at least for the first half. -

Will Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton receive their 150th caps? You'd like to think so. Wonder if they've even been approached -
And that's before you even take a look at his bank statements.

Two weeks heโs out but 4 games heโs missing itโs a lot. Just as soon as weโre finding the rhythm, it gets halted again and again. Cantwell this game is too soon for him. Tgh is back but this game i would play forshaw and tgh to allow tgh a bit of freedom. He canโt play in that number 6 role as we seen again derby. -

4000 Holes Podcast - Puddy, & The BRFC Archive

Superb podcast really enjoyed this one. Peters knowledge and recollection of old was fascinating and we often forget life off the pitch and away from Ewood Park for the old boys. I didn't have a clue about any of the things mentioned and thought his stories of travel etc were fantastic. We all like to think our Knowledge of Rovers is healthy but there's so much yet to discover (especially for me Rovers class of 88) Also hats of to Scott for putting all that together it gave me a headache thinking about where you would start with something like that! Clearly it was 1875 ๐๐ค Well worth a listen @Herbie6590cheers gang for getting this all together - Today

Tronstad out for a few weeksโฆ we canโt catch a break. -
Love the Bonny Inn. Still try to pop in there from time to time. Of the two pubs at Ramsgreave you'd have expected the Risjng Sun, which always looked down at heel, to have been the one to shut. Such as shame the Bull's Head has gone - it was a great pub in its day. Knew the family that ran the Knowles Arms in the 1960s Back to the Championship...

George Pratt Appreciation!!
TimmyJimmy replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Pratt played very well and I felt no worries when he was on the ball and when defending. Not much more to ask for really. The boy done good. On the wider topic, we don't have a Beckenbauer or a van Dijk at the club, a fact that JDT didn't understand and that cost us big time with the nonsensical passing the ball around in our box. It's good to have the Litherlands and Atchesons coming through but for me someone who is always fit and available and knows where row Z is gets my vote over silky passing out of defence but is a perpetual sick note (Carter/Wharton-esque). Who knows how Pratt will develop but as far as his first team debute is concerned I think the boy can be proud of that performance. Can he get better, sure, but for this week it's pat on the back time from me. -
Rovers under 18's are playing their Bolton counterparts today at 2 pm in the Lancashire FA Professional Youth Cup. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Bolton's Academy but has been switched to Brockhall although you wouldn't know as there is no mention anywhere on Rovers social media or website.

Rovers's January transfer needs
Old Codger replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You might as well make some names up. Everyone else does, especially the club. -
I have extremely vague memories of being at my aunt and uncles to watch the Rovers vs. Derby Co. Playoff Semi Final, it was on ITV? I remember my dads excitement/nervousness walking back to where we lived in Beardwood. The first game I have some memories of being at was the Playoff Final itself at Wembley. Worth reliving, I dont know how 38 year old me would have coped with Newell missing the second penalty with just minutes to go....they always put you through it don't they?! A reminder the poll closes at midnight.
