  1. Past hour
  2. I've always been of the opinion this season since it became clear we were going to sell off all our decent Championship experience that it will be 50/50 on relegation but we would eventually limp to safety when we get Toth back in goal, Alebiosu, Morishita & Gudjohnsen back in the side, and I think I still do but those results over the weekend were a killer. It's getting far too close for comfort. The next two weeks or so are huge, against a poor Swansea side away, 3 home games in a row including Sheffield Wednesday, and then Norwich away. Think after these 4 games we will more or less know, if we're still out of the bottom 3 by a few points my original prediction of limping to safety will happen I think. But as has been said further up, the main concern for me is if/when we fall into that bottom 3 do we have enough characters at the club to claw and scrap to get us out of it. I'm not sure we do.
  3. John Lee Hooker - It Serves Me Right To Suffer Should be Rovers running out song these days.
  4. I imagine it will now go very quiet until mid next week at the earliest. Based on Ismael's comments, I'm expecting a cheap loan striker and the offloading of a couple of the current squad...oh and Hedges probably not being registered for the rest of the season while we suffer along with De Neve at LWB.
  5. Heard anything more on this @Mercer?? Or turned out to be merely rumours?
  6. Today
  7. Much rather gamble on someone like this than go for a championship crock like Frey Also suits the buy cheap, sell for a profit agenda at the club
  8. ISH - I reported a polish FB group linking us in summer. Reared it's head again due to the chairman pushing him out the door and LT mentioning it as a fan suggestion
  9. I don't think there's any credibility in these tbh shit post from me tbh lol
  10. Agree matey. Conversation always reverts back to one thing.
  11. I suppose I will watch this on TV, but with no enthusiasm or excitement. I just hope I end up watching more than the 12 minutes I managed of the Ipswich game. No chance of a result for us, but hoping for a consolation goal from our new striker. 3-1
  12. Possibly...but it might be because nobody has ever heard of second/third rate players in the Z League of Greenland!
  13. Maybe it's because they haven't a clue til something gets proposed to them. They haven't a clue, so neither do the journalists lol
  14. One good thing about the current set up, possibly the only thing, is they manage to keep any transfer dealings pretty quiet.
  15. Yeah, the gate for the Stoke game was 30,300. Our previous Saturday home gate against Spurs was 20,949.
  16. Yes but 4 of that 5 fall firmly in the Attendance FC 'we are massive because we get ....... ' millennial/GenZ way of judging clubs. Nob End have a great history to be fair but are a pale shadow of the mighty Rovers.
  17. Cheers guys 🙏
  18. In my local there are regularly a supporter each of Forest, Leeds, Everton and me! When the football talk starts, all my contributions include "fucking Venkys", I no longer brag about my club and it's achievements, I just slag off the regime. I have very little pride in BRFC anymore, just vitriol for the owners. 😠
  19. Also ‘BIG’ clubs like Birmingham, Forest, Middlesbrough, Leicester or even Nobbers don’t make the top 20
  20. He was a year or two above me at school, and he was an arrogant twat then. When he tried setting up FC Rovers, he was 20 or 21, and it showed. His grandad was Rovers through and through, but he’s all about himself imo.
  21. People forget just how successful Everton were. Their fans rue the day Shankly got hold of their rivals.
  22. Looking at the teams above us I would guess that we've only dropped one place as Wolves will have overtaken us over that period.
  23. These aren't rumours, they are just taken from an article on the LET website where they asked a handful of fans who they would look to sign in this window.
