  1. Past hour
  2. It's shit, low effort dirge. Reeks of not caring and if that's the price it's sickening. The team and manager to a certain extent have done themselves proud this past week, the wider club continues to disappoint me.
  3. If the very latest rumours and photos are genuine about this white shirt with a Maltese cross on it, my overall emotion is just one of real sadness. Might be trivial in the grand scheme of things for a grown man to feel sad about what a anniversary football shirt looks like, but I can't help it. It looks rubbish. It looks cheap. It's ridiculously expensive if that is the correct price. It doesn't look or feel like anything familiar or loveable about Rovers. No one other than an anorak of Rovers history is going to have a clue what shirt it is if you were to wear it in public, most people will just think you're dressed like a crank. Infuriating to think they had a fan group willing to engage and guide them on this and instead they've gone their own way and churned out this tat. Please let it be a red herring and there is some blue and white glorious kit waiting to be unveiled.
  4. I showed it someone at work and they said it looks very Klu Klux Klan
  5. Just looking at those fixtures and I just had a thought that summed up where we are right now, Wrexham away, a club that hasn't been in the 2nd tier for 43 years, will very likely go into that game having vastly more Championship experience in their starting XI than we do. I have no idea what the actual total minutes in the Championship per side will be, but I would wager they will be miles ahead of us in that respect, sobering thought for the day!

  7. £90 is a ridiculous price for a shirt. I won't be buying one. There's nothing to celebrate with these in charge. They could of had thousands purchased had they of kept the fanbase happy and run the club properly. I begrudged buying the home shirt this year but that was bought out of tradition.
  8. Today
  9. Without going down a 'non-football' rabbit hole as that belongs outside of this part of the forum.....but I really hope you don't regularly complain about the standard of living / inflation etc. if you can go out and buy 4 football shirts a year + a basketball top for what I assume would be £350+ combined and then do it all again the next year as they very slightly change. £90 is extortionate, and you're either delusional, or lying (or both) if you're justifying it.
  10. Similar opinions to others in that I'm thinking absolutely no chance given a mid-week away match. Having said that, a result here puts us into a decent position heading into the 2nd quarter of the season....fixtures after this until Christmas look favourable, with 6 of 9 at home and 6 of 9 against bottom half teams. Although we do have 7 games in 23 days - that Ipswich cancellation is frustrating on so many levels, not least as they'll probably hit form now. Wednesday, Oxford and Pompey in December could make for a happy or disastrous Christmas!
  11. Sam and Dave - I Can't Stand Up For Falling Down
  12. I totally get they are different in abilities yet Both players fans seemed angered at the fact we let them go.. Hence i was comparing it that way as opposed to out and out ability.
  13. Strange career by looks of it. 159 games in 13 year professional career. Also had plenty of academy experience at different clubs ranging from under 14s-21s. If it is him appointed for this role, I'm taking an early shot that he will be the first teams next "head coach" when they have no use for Ismael anymore.
  14. Well he flopped in Australia!
  15. Our 150th anniversary is going the same way as everything else this club attempts. Same, done well it could have brought us together a bit. I should have known. Codename Operation Damp Squid. Are they still going ahead with that legends game after the match is finished? Everybody will be off home especially if we lose.
  16. If they are £90 then I'd love to see someone from the club justifying that exorbitant price. That will be the biggest factors in low sales followed by no identification on the shirt to link it to Rovers. The above is assuming the 'leaked' information is correct.
  17. 'Price won't be a factor' ... in one of the most deprived regions of the entire country. What a ridiculous thing to say.
  18. Plenty wont buy it because its horrible and a work of fiction and I can assure you the high price WILL also be a factor.
  19. I can absolutely tell you with experience that MAF is a crank and a clueless one. If that is someone posting stuff from the genuine thinking inside that club it's stitched up beyond belief. Absolutely the status quo of the few in there is being protected for their own means.
  20. I have been told that the new under 21's manager is Gregory Vignal who lists Liverpool and Rangers amongst the many clubs he played for. There has been nothing announced from the club yet.
  21. Not expecting anything on a Tuesday night at Ashton Gate. Taking anything away from here would be a great result and another very welcome surprise. COYB 🔵⚪️🌹
  22. I wouldnt say a wind up, possibly a club plant......look at their X feed and it's hardly a big surprise either. Prime example of the content they post....
  23. Ignorant of the history of football too, badges weren’t even a thing on shirts until the 1970s (outside a cup fina), so yeah a white smock with a cross on it, very Blackburn Rovers.
  24. See we have a 🦜 again
