  1. Past hour
  2. Good point and heard a few say same. By now this should have been sorted. Time to deliver Ismael
  3. Would all make sense. We made the journey up last night. Would love to have a Rovers game to watch before we drive back to the south west - whatever the result.
  4. Atcheson apparently taken off late with a head injury last night too
  5. Didn't we beat them 1-0 at Ewood, when we were already relegated and they were pushing for promotion?
  6. Half of Millars throws were big looping ones midweek, that takes a lot of the threat away IMO. If it’s arrowed in like a driven corner they’re murder to deal with, otherwise the effort to get him over there isn’t worth the outcome
  7. Thought exactly this. Ismael hasn't introduced any consistent style/approach. Doesn't seem to have a specific game plan - which was literally the only thing I expected him to do. High intensity for 90 mins. Piss poor manager. The long throw is a waste of time too. If you play Millar at cb, you are already one tall payer down in the box. If there's only one or two 6 footers in the team to compete for the throw, it's meat and drink to the defending team. No point bothering with it. Now if you have 4 or 5 of Gueye/Axel/Carter/Wharton/Alebiosu/Gudjonsen on the pitch, it makes more sense. 1-3 Stoke today but good chance it gets called off.
  8. I would like to think that Rovers have a plan in place for an early pitch I inspection and have been liaising with the match referee. Given the early kick off the referee should be staying locally and for a 12.30 kick off would normally arrive around 10 am. He will do a preliminary inspection, look at an up to date forecast and speak to the ground staff. With Stoke supporters leaving between 10-11 am I would hope this is factored in along with the other criteria. I would say it really is touch and go right now but the referee needs to be decisive.
  9. What's your opinion on Gueye and Ohashi now they've been here a year. Were you not expecting 15 goals grom Ohashi this season?
  10. Those pictures are from 2021, when the game against Swansea was postponed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55627726
  11. A proud moment for the club & those in charge, setting new records all the time 😉
  12. “But as I say, it's always a 50-50 game in a Championship. Anyone can beat anyone.” That’s like saying you have a 50/50 chance on the lottery - either you win it or you don’t. Didn’t know my odds were that good.
  13. Today
  14. I know, like I say it's not exactly a credible source and there was always a very strong chance the Ipswich game was off so probably just a speculative tweet to appear ITK like so many on there. It's grim as hell out there at present and wouldn't like to try and kick a ball in that wind either!
  15. And was techincally wrong that day.. Seems to get a kick in trying to pursuade away fans not to travel. Wierd place twitter.
  16. High chance of being correct by just looking at the weather, but it wouldn't be taking his word for it. He said the game against ipswich was off 3 or 4 times before the game, only for it to be played and then abandoned. Nobody starts work until 10am so I bet they won't even bother to look until at least 11am.
  17. Some bloke on twitter insisting the game is off....doesn't exactly seem like the greatest source in the world, BUT looking back he said similar for the Ipswich game.
  18. RE Forshaw, he was taken off after 41 minutes last night for the U21s, the plan was to play him for 60 minutes, so pretty safe to assume he has relapsed
  19. River level has dropped a lot overnight, there’s no planned pitch inspection this morning so got to assume they’ve got it all under control…
  20. Great - let’s call off the game before the misery begins is there a record for the number of professional games being called off due to pitch flooding, I fear we may hold this by the end of the season
  21. Ah thanks for reminding us about that - as a football fan that was outrageously funny but as a rovers fan it was awful I don’t rate rate VI much at all but he seems to be yet another yes man who won’t challenge them lot and just gladly walk us in to relegation it’s depressing thinking we have had so many terrible coaches under this regime
  22. Yesterday
  23. Never ever going to happen unless there's a literal revolution.
  24. That just shows how shit the rest of their ideas are.
