  1. Past hour
  2. The only ray of hope is, if they've come to a decision not to remove him at the moment - at least it might have been discussed in the first place.
  3. The simple solution to the Rovers not removing VI, is to remove yourself.
  4. Whilst there are 9000 season ticket holders, the club will always be able to claim at least 11,000 crowds, even if not all season ticket holders turn up.
  5. I actually think there were about 5k on last night in the home sections.
  6. Got an email from Rovers thanking me for joining them and asking how my experience was at the Sheffield United game last night. I’m a season ticket holder but didn’t attend. So my experience was great, didn’t have to watch those doughnuts get beat again.
  7. Yep, in the PL days we'd get 20k home fans vs United. Now it's more like 10k. That's 50% of the fanbase who've left. That's shocking tbqh. A lot of it is a quiet boycott, myself included. Rovers fans need to get serious. It may be difficult to achieve but get home crowds really down closer to 5k. Stop buying merch and food like Wednesday are doing. The fanbase, I'm sorry to say, have been a soft touch and we need a serious plan to safeguard the future of our club. Protests, boycotts, hit them in their pockets, media. A multi pronged move on the ownership.
  8. Sadly feel like the Derby game is our best platform. Stay on concourse til 18mins and leave the stands at 75th minute
  9. AI driven stuff has dreadful inaccuracies in it in everyday stuff across the media yet this generation is pinning all its hopes on it across the board. Utterly ridiculous but no surprise this club is going all in on it if it thinks it can save a few pennies. Whilst costing itself millions in the long run.
  10. Today
  11. A few fanzines actually sneaked out into the wild last night. There's a cheeky link HERE if you're keen to order the "150th" Anniversary Special before proper publicising starts...
  12. Nearer home, which is the usual reason for leaving.
  13. Tyion is under England commitments now which will no doubt increase his value and interest to the gathering vultures if he plays and does well. As opposed to him struggling at first team level which he surely would do.
  14. Since Southampton won the play off final in May 2024, they have won just 4 league games. They couldn't ask for a better game at the minute. Rovers 0 Southampton 2. We limp on.
  15. I’m going to the game. Idk why I go now. Wasted my fking money on a season ticket I wish there was on option to refund.
  16. Absolutely @RevidgeBlue The manager promised his parents game time as part of keeping him signed on. He is also featuring for England kids. No supporter minds one of their own finding their feet as they develop as long as they give total commitment. What we hate is highly paid journeymen going through the motions.
  17. The Clash - English Civil War
  18. I get if people want to support the team but we need to gain a backbone and stop standing for this and take action. We can’t keep letting them destroy us and keep ‘just get behind them’ nonsense.
  19. We were a proud well run club and now look at us, an absolute laughing stock. I can’t describe my hatred for venkys, pasha and Rudy.
  20. That is the hardest hitting one for me. With a full backing from everyone it says we are ignoring the last fifteen years just as they have by ignoring the history and traditions of the club and town. And not to mention the 'we will absolutely respect the Jack Walker legacy' statement from the lady Venky. I think it's something that could capture the imagination of the wider media. An alternative to the 150 year awful official merchandise could be things with 135th anniversary on them.
  21. Bad comparison. Least Southgate can man manage.
  22. Apparently the Coach that season was someone called Grant Brebner a Scottish man from Edinburgh who doesn't seem to have had any managerial experience before or after. Him and Kean seemingly worked at Reading at the same time years ago. Kean took over as interim manager in April until the end of the season when Brebner was sacked.
  23. 2020/21 you say. Hmm. 🫣
  24. (Tin hat on) There's so much you can legitimately go at them on that I think this is a red herring and a bit of a coincidence which deflects attention from the real issues. A bit like the conspiracy rumours in the old days about Venky's not being the actual owners etc. Even if it's not sheer coincidence and say for the sake of argument Kean/Gestede/Waggott and Pasha have connections to or dealings with some of the same people or agents within the footballing world, what does it prove other than a bit of an old boys network?
  25. In that case I agree with you. They have a splintered fanbase like we have, they've had some decent coverage so far, especially the refusal to enter the ground at Leicester until a given time and the pitch invasion. The way to bring about change is often through strength in numbers, we need an alliance, desperately.
