  1. Past hour
  2. Got to wonder how they’ll reflect on finishing midtable come the end of the season after that outlay
  3. They are ALL confidence players. When faced with adversity and a run of poor results, heads tend to go down, rather than these pampered primadonnas pulling up their socks and girding their loins. However, such is the nature of the game of association football, it can happen that a team on a downer meets another in an even worse state (e.g. Hull vs Rovers last week) and that can be enough to create a pattern interrupt that begins to spiral upwards, although apparently not in our case, based on yesterday's ragbag result. Anyway, the boss has a couple of weeks solid time with the lads to drill something into them, around whatever the new master plan happens to be. Let's hope that is long enough for some mettle to gel in the ranks. Buckle up Dorothy, Kansas is about to go bye bye...!
  4. They're looking at Robert's on a permanent as well, that would be an unreal signing if they pull it off.
  5. There's no problem with people having completely differing views on a message board, thats what it's all about, but your problem appears to be you can't be civil to those who dont have the same point of view as you.
  6. No wonder Eustace left us, they've spent an absolute fortune this summer.
  7. BBD would only be a good signing because are wingers are terrible atm, not good enough to play up top and doesn’t track back as a winger, one season wonder
  8. He’s a confidence player and needs a run of games, unfortunately with our position in the league that would be quite a gamble when Ohashi is available.
  9. Oh, apologies, I thought he was still out at Crewe I must have gotten muddled up. Fair enough, his last spell in League One was a fail though so no surprise for me he hasn't broken in here. If he does well for the rest of his loan he will surely get a chance here. If he doesn't, he shouldn't.
  10. I mean six out of the seven weren't even Rovers players when Derby signed them, but that doesn't suit the somewhat unamusing narrative or the idea that somehow Eustace is trying to shaft us etc.
  11. Diaz is a good signing for that lot he'll fit well into Eustaces style imo hitting on the break after sitting back all the time. He's a quality threat when he has a purple patch and it's now more evident than ever why Eustace wanted to go there.
  12. Should be a great signing for them
  13. Which also perfectly coincided with losing Travis and having no replacement as the squad was wafer thin. We then lost Baker and replaced those two with a guy who couldn’t get in bottom placed Plymouth’s team. Ismael will hit the same problems during the season, let’s hope he has points in the bank by then.
  14. ‘Twas moi. I guess Venkys don’t think so though. Maybe they believe they’re on top of the game here and can put together a successful team while paying sub standard wages. Or maybe they just don’t know what the hell they’re doing. They could tell the truth and explain they’re cutting their financial backing, then the question would be “why don’t you sell”. It beats me what they are trying to achieve now.
  15. Not a chance on Dennis he has Leon Best written all over him he'll be injured pulling his socks up.
  16. Mowbray seems to think everyones a good bloke. Whereas Suhail is helping to oversee the destruction of the club.
  17. Then perhaps a message board isn't for you if you can't handle other people that are of the opinion that we should be patient. How about letting the discussion unfold instead of dictating how it should.
  18. Me too. A very nice lady and I sincerely hope she hasn’t been forced out of the door.
  19. Let’s be honest, if that was us we would all be delighted to get BBD. You certainly can’t say Derby aren’t going for it.
  20. Apparently we’re changing our name to Jupiler Pro Rovers 👍
  21. Yep same script but different policy in terms of age and wages. Horrific thing is Brown was way better at ball control and hold up than Gueye although he couldn't score or be as athletic but he was a better all round player. Hoban - McCloughlan similar i'd say. Derek and Ribero different types but overall not much difference defence wise. Akpan - Useless footballer at that level but better in the tackle than Sid. Wes Brown and Gordon Greer i have no words. I suppose a few of this lot can and will develop whereas virtually all that lot were eeking their last paydays here foisted on us by parasitic agents. Doesn't help us in the short to medium term though where we are striking an unwanted resemblance to that team of misfits.
  22. Again, it’s your right to have that view, but I’m just getting tired of people saying let’s just wait an eternity to judge, when this message board thrives on discussion. No discussion, no message board.
  23. You won't be laughing when they batter us during the 150th anniversary "celebrations". Also quit with the Derby Rovers nonsense, it's unbelievably childish and completely ignores the reasons why Eustace and half our squad wanted to move there.
  24. How were they dead rubbers? We won both and had we gone on to win the last game, it was good enough for a play off spot.
