  1. Past hour
  2. Miyoshi's age concerns me more than anything, he'll be 29 before the season finishes. I know the Japs tend to be a fitter bread than us over here but no real sell on value there either way. Looking at comments and reels, he looks quite nippy and does have a number 10 feel about him.
  3. If the Miyoshi deal has been taking this long I can't imagine it's likely to get done. 2 million for a 28 year old doesn't sound like the sort of business we do these days. Imagine there's been a lot of haggling over the structure of the deal and add-ons.
  4. i ignore all questions ...my only hope / prediction rovers in playoff wild card ROVERS automatic qualification
  5. Feels like all fees have been over inflated tbf
  6. The 2 million price tag is a bit sore on the eyes & can’t really be realistic in my view … They signed him for 400k he’s not settled In Germany cause of coach his club have been relegated to the second division & his numbers of 15 games 1 goal don’t equal to them asking for 2 million so all in all a deal has been lined up for 3 weeks ready to hit the push button but for some reason they not pushed it … Maybe they waiting on it to drop unless some other club guzumps us … which is a big worry ……like I said earlier would perfer someone like him then a speedy winger …. We have enough speed with the likes of Kargbo De Neve & the right back …
  7. 1. Winners of the Championship Ipswich 2. Automatic promotion (runners-up) in the Championship Southampton 3. Four Play off semi-finalists in the Championship Birmingham Coventry Norwich Derby 4. Three relegated sides from the Championship Sheff Wed Hull City Stoke 5. Where will Rovers finish in the Championship? 16th 6. First Championship club to change manager (after the season starts) Phil Parkinson 7. Winners of the Premier League Man City 8. A notable wild card prediction of something that will happen in the Rovers universe during the season (e.g. Donald Trump visits Ewood Park) Yuki - 20 league goals.
  8. Feel Miyoshi is a little underwhelming especially anywhere around Β£2 million. Tidy little player but I feel we'd be better suited by a Kargbo type on the right.

  13. I think we can make it work with him out wide and tucking in on the attack if our right back bombs on up on the overlap like Britain did. Alebiosu looks like he can do that, whether Miller can I'm not too sure will need to see him play.
  14. Hopefully it means strength from the bench rather than simple replacement.
  15. Doesnt fit in with the rest of our recruitment, and perhaps not the type of wide player anyone had in mind. We could do with pace and he isnt that quick and he is also very weak. But we could also do with some technical ability. We are focusing on athletes which is all well and good but both in terms of results and entertainment, you need to have some craft and technical ability to go with it. And Miyoshi would really being that, he looked a good little technical player when he was at Birmingham and reading what their fans thought of him, they liked him which is always a good sign. Would he be an upgrade on Dolan if it happened? Not so sure. But he would be a noticeable upgrade on what we have. He also perhaps is better suited to playing in a more central position. That being said, if he did sign, he would potentially be expected to play narrower considering how we seem to want to play so that might work. Lots of ifs though as seemingly nothing is close. But I certainly wouldnt be against it.
  16. Today
  17. Just on Rovers.. Don't think we will go down, not a great league -mid table -promotion not on the agenda Some good games; new mantra "get into 'em'", great footy for fans who like to vent spleen More players to leave (higher earners) Keep an eye on the fabric How much will we pay a CEO (if there is one) Plenty of club narrative around "transitonal, rebuilding, new project, new model, players bedding in, mid table good given the circumstances, be grateful, we'll strenthen in the summer (26) to go again....."
  18. Miyoshi would be a great signing. Would be nice to sign someone we've seen play and we're confident would do well here too! Bit concerning hearing its been on the cards for a while though and still not done...
  19. Not quite but he was playing for a team that got relegated, whilst Dolan was playing for a side in and around the top 6 for most of the season
  20. Some Birmingham fans say he’s more of a no. 10 or 8 and is NOT a winger as he’s not very quick but has quick nibble feet which ideal for a no. 10.
  21. No https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/tyrhys-dolan/leistungsdaten/spieler/647435/plus/0?saison=2024
  22. Cozier-Dubbery wasn't πŸ˜‰ In the minds of 2 managers/head coaches at Rovers last season
  23. they have, but they also released a about a dozen as well
  24. They get offers but want better deals. Unproven Scandinavians probably aren’t as demanding.
  25. Which is more than what Dolan got I think?
  26. Apologies I misread. 6 goals and 6 assists.
