  1. Past hour
  2. Yes obviously it would be better if we had squad depth and could make decent subs and rotate the squad but we don’t. I’m not suggesting he never makes another substitution! I just think if there is nobody capable of replacing a player and you are trying to conserve a lead you might have to risk it for 10 mins. Especially as the exact same thing happened 4 days ago!
  3. Hedges was injured. Surely you saw that.
  4. It's frustration like it has been for many of us and last night was the culmination of several incorrect decisions. I believe he is totally right to put it out there. Do you think we should just accept them?
  5. So wages up significantly and still hovering around the traditional annual loss figure despite everything they've done over the last 3-4 years to slash costs. Either they're making a right mess of things and somehow still losing the same amounts now as they were before despite everything they've done. Or there is something seriously dodgy going on.
  6. The last 10 mins should have been replayed, no justification for 90.
  7. It wasn't the ref's fault that we only scored 1 goal (again, that's 18 goals in 18 games - not enough) or that we conceded (again, that's still 0 clean sheets at home). We could have defended a 1-0 lead far better than the disorganised chaotic mess that we provided (admittedly some may be down to tiredness but not the whole story). And what happened last night is exactly the reason why the game should have been replayed in full. A goal in the last 30 seconds - even if undeserved over the 90 minutes - can easily happen, especially with our dismal home record.
  8. Not me - I’m merely RT’ing the excellent BRFC Archive account. Those who have listened to the latest podcast will now know Scott Mason who is behind the terrific resource 👍
  9. Today
  10. There’s no point of a four game bundle if it’s no cheaper pro rata than what you’d expect a match ticket to be anyway (I.e works out at £27 to £30 a game in the JW) as you only need to miss one for it to be terrible value. Also logically if you are somebody that doesn’t buy a ST in the first place then by default you don’t want to commit to multiple games in a row. Waste of time from a regime that is cynically using crap deals that will get no take up in order to go ‘see, told you so’ in FF meetings.
  11. How on earth do wages keep going up with the culling that goes on at Ewood? Something stinks as usual
  12. Woke up and checked the score- initially thought ‘1-1 vs Ipswich, it'll do’. Then I saw it was the second late equaliser conceded in four days….
  13. Not sure it's a list he has kept, perhaps him scribbling down the decisions which came to mind when he lost his cool at the ref performance? I think he got the sub of hedges wrong, Yuri would more likely have sat in and helped the backline. I prefer him being honest and not biting his tongue tonight, at least it shows some passion, even if it may come from concern for his own position
  14. I don't disagree that ST pricing is too high but I'm not convinced £300 is the mark to really move the needle on attendance. If it was, and I'm happy to be corrected if my recollection is wrong, the Riverside would be much fuller as that was the initial price. Make it £300 all around and we have an empty Riverside and possibly much lower revenue.
  15. Was just coming in here to make the same comment about Gudjohnson. Jordan Rhodes 2.0, does absolutely nothing but put the ball in the net, when it arrives in the box. I don’t think I saw him win a header or a 50/50 anywhere outside of the box tonight, passing awful too. Better have a team of athletes behind him, but easy 20 goal a season finisher. I like that Val has made those comments, it is getting ridiculous now. You can handle a few but it’s every bloody week right now. I’m most upset about the corner kick, just ridiculous. Lads played well tonight against another strong squad. Having Cantwell back and hopefully Sonny soon changes this team. Baradji has much more to come too. I’m reasonably upbeat now, couple of wins are overdue.
  16. I would have taken either off. Not one positive comment about how well we played tonight. Tonight was our best home league game performance. If the referee had made the correct decisions like Ipswich's player not getting clear red card or penalty decision. These decisions not being made cost us the game.
  17. Well I've scratched my head enough as to why De Neve is picked as sub before Pickering or Riberio, I'd now confidently put them both up top ahead of Gueye too. He is absolutely atrocious. I'm usually one to dig out players for conceding late goals, but I'm genuinely gutted for the vast majority of them tonight who grafted for the shirt.
  18. Poor form from a manager to complain about the officials. Leave that to the supporters on social. It sets a bad precedent to a team to focus on components out of your controls instead of the parts you can control. Wrong mentality.
  19. Rewatched the equalizer again. While DeNeve is in the correct defensive position when the ball come to Egeli, it’s only because it took so long to find him. An earlier ball across after the lay off would have again seen him wrong side the winds player as the first man runs right by him. Mind you, like a week ago he should be fresh and be able to help cover. then when he does press the ball he closes out with his back to Egeli a poor way to block a shot. no idea why we don’t sub on proper defenders to see the game out instead of DeNeve. The lads complete dross
  20. McKenna left his 2 best players on the bench tonight. philogene and Nunes. No idea why he did that as I can't see Ipswich going up any time soon. Referee was a shit tonight. Pathetic.
  21. A great way to stop undercutting STHs is to not charge THEM quite so fucking much either. Then maybe we’d get more on the ground. Should be £300 anywhere in the ground, with ‘Twenty’s Plenty’ for per-game pricing.
  22. Ismael's an absolute ham shanker. It's not referees' fault we can't defend. Or create enough chances. One win in nine home League games. None of it down to him or his appalling recruitment I don't suppose. The most unlikeable manager since Steve Kean by quite some distance.
  23. My ‘other’ was Robbie Savage. Much as he was a complete dick, I loved how much he wound up the opposition. I also credit his legwork with extending Tugay’s playing days by an extra couple of years.
