  1. Past hour
  2. I vaguely recall Rosler being big mates with Erling Haaland?
  3. Difficult to say since Allsvenskan is a quite poor league when compared to the Championship. The intensity is lower and the players have more time on the ball. Maybe someone like Hyam would be a dominant force in Allsvenskan, who knows? Rösler is definitely not a standout player like for example Ahmedhodzic was when he played in Allsvenskan. Rösler did win his previous club's (Mjällby AIF) player of the year award in 2023. Maybe he could adapt and be a good player for us. Malmö FF is a wealthy club and would probably want a big fee to sell him so I don't think it will happen.
  4. If that's the shirt I'd put it in with the others as being 'fine', an all yellow shirt with black piping isn't one to get the pulses racing for me. Contrasting arms, a couple of strips down the sides like the 92/93 3rd shirt would be much more interesting
  5. I think I can allow myself a small non-controversial leak from Monday's Fans Forum. The away shirt is planned to be launched on Friday. Rovers will wear it in Saturday's game as Everton have asked if they can use their home shirt, as it's so far the only one they have launched.
  6. How does he compare to our current centre backs?
  7. That bit might be offset by the fact the contract offer we made to him is also taken into account.
  8. Rösler is a solid central defender at Allsvenskan level. Reads the game well and decent on the ball. Not sure if he is good enough to start games in the Championship. Underperforming Malmö FF paid about 1 million euros for him a year ago. He is a regular starter for them and is likely out of our price range anyway. They are not known to sell players on the cheap.
  9. ‘Inspired by the yellow on the iconic crumbling concourse steps’
  10. Today
  11. We will never win every battle as some fans can't see further than their own nose and some just want attention or love being contrary. At least getting it out there in the local rag to an audience that otherwise my never see it can only help in my view.
  12. You'd think yellow and black would be the obvious one this year, we had red and black last year and if I remember correctly had a yellow and blue (Wembley inspired) 3rd shirt a couple of years ago. Any other colour combo would be a left field choice
  13. 2 and a half years left on Roslers contract, a full international, and actually seems to have a decent pedigree compared to the others we have signed. All the above tells me that this won't happen.
  14. To be fair - he was a promising signing (came with good reviews) but not all players kick on, but these are the sort of signings that can work out and help us find a real gem.
  15. Rosler will be a lot cheaper than others linked. Also former England youth international so will qualify for a work permit. Don’t know if he will be good enough
  16. I think we are-due to his age...
  17. Because we were targeting left footed centre half
  18. If he goes to another club in this country then yes we will get compensation Set by tribunal If the club getting him can't agree a fee with us.
  19. That's good thinking. I have shared it a few times too, so hopefully the word is spreading further.
  20. So there was something in the Rosler link last night. Didn’t think much of it as he wasn’t left footed
  21. Sadly, we seem to have made contact with a number of clubs regarding possible transfers only to make an offer way below valuation. This lad is playing for the current Swedish Champions and is also a full international - being sceptical and recognising what has happened this window with the likes of Sagnan, Nade etc, would think this is yet another rabbit hole. Think it's more like;y we sign Patrick Bauer or someone similar!
  22. I've copied and pasted it on LET comments section ( Bradley Dack part 2) so it gets out there and seen by others who may never see it and still think everything is fine and dandy at Ewood. Anything that gets people to do some critical thinking can only be a good thing, as we need to question some of the ostriches on their. Be interesting to see the replies but not holding my breath for anything positive.
