If we get something out of this "I would love it." -
Precocious talent. Too much for JDT.
- Yesterday
-
He should have been given more time. Like another 10 years at minimum.
-
Disappointing. It was fun while it lasted.
-
the sight of mr wonderful being squirreled away in a black car while irate rangers where calling for him to hung drawn quartered and burnt at the stake was pretty funny rangers have actually signed a few decent players this summer,it`s martins team shape thats created all the problems, the players hav`nt got a clue what they are supposed to be doing
-
He'll have to go to Real Madrid for £100M. Then Tuchal will pick him.
-
Why they appointed him in the first place is beyond incompetence, but it was during the takeover. Now go out and get Gerrard back, give him full control and a budget to work with. If they do that they’ll win the league.
-
Martin sacked ☹️ I was enjoying that.
-
Where does it say it's a prediction? IT IS NOT A PREDICTION - it is a personal view "I wish I could sit here with 100% certainty that Rovers wont suffer any points deduction this season - sadly, with our ownership and executive management, I can't". It was the referee's decision - the ball would not bounce, it would not run and the pitch had become a big risk for the players' safety. McKenna was right to flag his concerns. Roles reversed and Ismael would have done the same. What can you not see? Embarrassing to expect Rovers to go down. Why? Do you not think it's embarrassing when you seem to forecast Rovers to win every game? What is your forecast for the Coventry game?
-
It's got to be arguably the craziest manager move in Premier League history. Can anyone think of one as bizarre? Sure they are out there, I just can't think of them. Well actually maybe replacing Kenny Dlaglish with Ray Harford.... I jest. Ange had done as much as you could do to show that he was not suited to the premier league, managed to nearly get a squad that cost hundreds of millions relegated (average to get relegated in premier league over last 10 years is 35 points. Spurs finished with 38).

I didn’t see the game but……

Watched a couple of highlights from Coventry's last matches; main threat are their transitions/counter-attacks and secondary threat comes from set pieces. Read some general stats the other day showing that 50 percent of all goals scored in top divisions/higher levels comes from transitions and around 20 percent from set pieces. In order words, Coventry have been highly effective by playing a quick/direct style of football and not putting much emphasis on possession. We need to frustrate them by being organised in defence, play a low- or midblock and try to be effective on the transition/counter ourselves. Some takeaways from our last two home matches; - Ribeiro looks way off and needs to be dropped. Lost his marker for Swansea's first goal and was caught on the wrong side of Manhoef for Stoke's goal. He also slows down tempo in final third by taking too many touches and his deliveries into the box are often poor. - Miller has improved greatly playing as a centre back. - Morishita looks isolated/lost playing on the right hand side as he's not being involved enough in the attacks. Would benefit playing in a more central position. - Hedges works hard but his crosses are consistently poor. Doesn't have enough pace or dribbling skill to beat his man on the wing, making him limited in attack. - Bit of a redemption for Kargbo getting a goal after his mistake/lack of effort for not tracking back in the lead-up to Swansea's winner. The mistake might serve as a bit of a wake-up call as he looked more energetic against Stoke. - Gudjohnsen wasted two goalscoring opportunities (one in each game) because of a poor first touch. Needs to understand that the game is quicker in the Championship and that he has to be more alert in certain situations. Has struggled to be involved or winning challenges/aerial duels at times. - We seriously need to work on our set pieces. Many of our corners doesn't even get past the first man standing at near post. Only thing that works well are Miller's throw-ins. I would be tempted to play a back three against Coventry if Carter recovers from injury in time (to act as cover on the bench). Firstly, it would help the team defend against set pieces a bit better. Secondly, it would free up Alebiosu somewhat from his defensive duties and allow him to attack the right hand side more frequently. Thirdly, Morishita would be able to play in a more central position together with Cantwell. Toth Miller McLoughlin Wharton Alebiosu Tronstad TGH De Neve Morishita Cantwell Ohashi Coventry often play in a 4-2-3-1 so if we were to switch to a back three, one of the center backs would have to 'step out' of the defensive line to stop either one of the wingers or the central attacking midfielder when defending. -

I know it's a small thing and ultimately unimportant but I'm absolutely appalled by the standards on display here. These fuckers have so much to answer for. -

Thought there were some good signs going forward yesterday, we got in numerous good positions in both halves. Szmodics would have filled his boots yesterday, we could/should have had 5 or 6, some of the attacking play was really good ,it's the finishing that let us down. -

no one was as bad as kean, not even ince or coyle, silly statement that -
And if you saw how they conceded the penalty, it was incredibly suicidal. Their lads second touch was a ridiculous foul in the box.
-
He’s lost every game so far though, so it’s obviously not going well, regardless.
