  1. Past hour
  2. Bali mumba signing for Huddersfield for £1 million
  3. The sales of Jones, Kalinic and Samba brought in enough to cover V;s purchase price plus the inherited overdraft. I'd love to know where all that money went seeing as we still had Prem income then to run the club and previous losses were i think sub 10 million.
  4. I'd be all over max Dean. He's 21 scored goals in the champions league/europa league. Has a decent strike rate. Shame we've no chance of getting him
  5. Oh for the halcyon days of Corrado Grabbi.
  6. Well, we've no substantive transfer links to talk about so might as well carry it on. Fun fact: Gueye scored the same number of goals last season as Luke Varney did between 2014 -18. (Six) Reg Varney would have been better. "Get that bus out Butler".
  7. Exactly Tim! Pointless argument. I'll say this though, that Gueye was no Paul McKinnon.
  8. Agreed. There will be coaches out there that could come in and do a better job than Ismael. The question is whether Rovers are capable of appointing one... 😅
  9. Read he did his ACL in December 2024...missed the remainder of last season as a result, so has probably been set back in his development since.
  10. Had a cruciate ligament injury in Jan 2025, missed nearly a year of football.
  11. I posted about Max Dean as an overseas English option playing in Belgium a few weeks ago, didn't necessarily want us to actually go after him. Probably where to rumour came from tbh, I'm deffo not an itk, just a Football Manager player lol. Young so should develop; good last year, but poor this year; English but plays in Rudy's favourite league.
  12. Exactly. " But who would come in?" " But who would buy us?" etc.....
  13. Pretty sure this guy posts nothing but total bollox.
  14. Was mildly interested until I saw who the poster was
  15. 96 people have like the Original post here. All sharing the same sentiment fingers crossed we all share the same opinion on the Watford Boycott
  16. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2026/january/13/rovers-to-take-on-the-trotters-in-lancashire-senior-cup/ Rovers will welcome Bolton Wanderers to the Rovers Academy next month in the next round of the Lancashire Senior Cup. A place in the final of the competition will be the reward for the victors as the tournament reaches the final four stage. The tit against the Trotters will take place on Wednesday 11th February, with kick-off scheduled for 1pm. The other semi-final will pit Burnley against Wigan Athletic.
  17. Tonight's game postponed, I think that's it for loanee games now until the weekend Edmondson - postponed
  18. I was going to ask why his name was just left like a bad smell with absolutely no further information or source. Seemingly embarassment as to what that source is.
  19. His complete lack of effort this season has been totally unforgivable, and he has to move on. But the right manager could have got a tune out of Gueye I think. Sure Allardyce would have for example. Not a good fit for Eustace or Ismael though who prioritise pressing from the forwards which he is hopeless at.
  20. Barrister will go down with cramp on case #35 to waste time and get the physio on.
  21. Complete bullshit most likely so Alebiousu to Everton was a done deal by him last week
  22. Only post I can see on that cesspit of a platform is from that Howard_RV person that was suggested to be Mercer at one point.
  23. give it a couple of years and those players will seem like world beaters by comparison to what we have to watch then
  24. Today
  25. I'm depressed enough about our current situation without being reminded of old Browny and Varney. Grim days with the likes of Koita, Feeney, Greer, W. Brown, Guthrie, Delfouneso and other sub-standard cloggers being signed up. Wasn't long before we ended up relegated and no doubt we're on the same path now.
  26. You both right and wrong Jim. It is a real photograph from “ Getty Images “. It’s from the game against Stoke City on the 21st of September 1963. We won the game 1-0 with an Andy McEvoy goal. I went to this game, it was shortly after the 7-2 mauling of Spurs, and I was expecting a repeat so I was really disappointed with the 1-0. The only other thing I remember was Stanley Mathews was down to play in the programme but didn’t appear. So I never got to see the great man play.
