  1. Past hour
  2. Got the Sunday paper round in the morning, need an early night.
  3. Probably watching Travis pulling their goal scorer for about 5 seconds whilst the ball was in flight.
  4. Trav should have been sent off today, never mind booked. Blatantly kicked an Ipswich player in the face.
  5. Ironically, it was that non clearance at West Brom which was the worst decision of them all. The ref shouldn't get another game after missing the foul on Alebiosu. Makes me wonder what he was actually watching. Terrible officiating.
  6. All the ITKS are quiet tonight on twitter
  7. In fairness, how many new signings, across all the leagues have set the world on fire a few games in? Ekitike has done well, Grealish I guess, probably forgot a few but overall not many yet.....
  8. Off the top of my head: Should have booked whoever scythed down Hedges and whoever fouled Alebiosu (#19?) in the first half when they were both clear down the wing. Should have booked both Norwich players who stood in front of the ball when Cantwell was trying to take a quick FK in the second half (Cantwell got a telling off instead). Should have booked the Norwich player who delayed the quick play of a throw-in in the first half. Hedges was fouled off the pitch in the second half and he waved play on. Should probably have given us a penalty for handball (haven't seen it back, but every Rovers player went up for it). Should have sent S. Wharton off for pulling back their attacker in the second half when clean through on goal. I'm only irked by it because Cantwell got booked for standing up for Ribeiro (one of their players was standing over Ribeiro menacingly as he was on the ground) and booked Tronstad for literally his first foul of the game. Either officiate it properly or don't bother and let it become a melee. Don't punish one team harshly and let the other off.
  9. High/lowlights on TV now. I'm out πŸ˜• Until tomorrow πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ
  10. Sadly, like all fan bases, if the club signs a few players some people think all their Christmases have come earlier. They won't look further than the surface level
  11. What in particular did he do so wrong? I genuinely can’t think of a major decision he got wrong. There was a corner we should have had second half and a foul on Cantwell second half on our right, oh and the comedy keeper count but other than that I didn’t see anything I particularly disagreed with or felt irked by
  12. There are some on the those deluded Rovers facebook pages saying that the board has absolutely 'smashed' it this xfer window. Incredibly niave.
  13. Ooooph. He was one of the worst I've ever seen. They genuinely couldn't do much worse sacking the lot of them and starting again afresh.
  14. Stings watching the EFL highlights and seeing Brittain directly involved in all of Boro's attacks.
  15. I just want consistency from referees. I'm not incredibly blinkered at all. I thought S. Wharton should have been sent off today for grabbing their attacker round the neck when he was running down the right - I think the ref took pity on him and turned a blind eye because he'd already sent off McLoughlin for less contact.
  16. They’ll close it. Another cost reduced.
  17. To be fair Suhail gets far more stick on here than VI, probably because we didn’t expect much from VI based on his record and reputation when we employed him.
  18. Agree. Cannot see Pears going this window personally. As much as we’ve all criticised him in the past, I’m sure we would all want an experienced keeper in should Toth face a period out injured.
  19. This is as succinct a summary of the disaster I think we're currently staring in the face as I can imagine.
  20. Just fucking pathetic. How do they not see that this will just cost them money as people will just go to pubs showing games instead? Dickheads.
  21. I think they're genuinely convinced they can continue to slash costs and stay in the division. False confidence brought about by JDT & Eustace performing miracles with a squad that was continually being downgraded (albeit the wheels fell off for JDT towards the end). Their 'strategy' was only ever one managerial change away from disaster, and we may be there. Neither JDT nor Eustace were willing to see the core of the team replaced by cheap, unknown alternatives, knowing the consequences, and so both ultimately found a way out. Ismael is seemingly on board with it, and I can only see it ending one way.
  22. The usual suspects come out and start questioning the manager. Not defending or attacking VI but why dont some fans spend half as much time questioning the man who hired VI if you think he's the main problem and assembled the previous squad and out together this squad or suhail who has consistently worsened this club.
  23. I've said it for years on here, the reason that Ryan Hedges has played for this club for years under many managers is that he can read a game. His skill set leaves a lot to be desired, but he doesn't look out of depth working with a full back.
  24. Perhaps 7 games into his managerial tenure here?
  25. I thought the ref was fine today, we made his job easy by allowing Norwich to buy some stupid fouls. The amount of times rovers players bundled into the back of players waiting for contact was painful to watch. Each time slowing the game down and allowing them to control the flow of the game
