  1. Past hour
  2. He 'knows the club' after all. That league is so gash even that piece of shit would be successful.
  3. To top it all off, I’m not convinced that’s a bona fide Maltese Cross. It looks like someone’s used the Macron logo and added 3 more at perpendicular angles on MS Paint.
  4. Today
  5. Steve Kean was once a Celtic reserve player. Maybe he can take the job.
  6. The commercial takeover that isn't being discussed much. I believe a fair chunk of the Championship is now majority or minority US owned.
  7. Yes. Its our 150th anniversary shirt. Bought all the others this season Its anniversary season. I paid more for Lakers shirt
  8. Damien Johnson - never in the category of David Thompson, Keith Gillespie or Brett Emerton, but a fine right-sided midfielder in his day. Incidentally, I firmly believe we had the new Johnson at the club in Alan Judge but somehow we failed to appreciate or use him.
  9. Is Joseph making a significant difference? The improved results (albeit, only a couple, so need to wait and see if it is meaningful) seem to possibly coincide with him coming into the line-up. The managerial change sounds like it could also be a difference. A lack of a forward has been a real problem (amongst others in the U21s), with Tyjon not suitable for the lone role, yet being persistently placed there. To my mind, the youth set-up need to recruit another forward or two, to support the development of Joseph, Boggan and Tyjon. That, or they need to utilise a senior forward in games more often. Edit: I see Leonard scored his first Posh goal since his move, in a 1-0 FA Cup win over Cardiff. He was scoring for fun at U21 level, which indicates the improvement needed by the current crop of strikers if they hope to make it in the football league.
  10. Where? I'm sure I've seen links for it before but I'm not on here often. It looks much nicer than anything the club has done in recent memory, and I don't pay money to Venkys as a point of principle anyway. I bought the 60s halved sleeve one for my dad when you did that and it was really nice. And while I'm here, if that all white thing is the actual anniversary shirt, which it can't be surely, it's so bad it's almost funny. Being a proper football fan is about identity. We have one of the most identifiable kits in world football, so to celebrate also being one of the oldest and most historically significant, let's wear a plain white tee with an almost entirely irrelevant cross on it? Hilarious. They'll sell twelve.
  11. Not as much as Matt Le Tissier who is the obvious choice.
  12. Liam Lynch - United States of Whatever
  13. Yesterday
  14. Russell Martin has entered the chat. He should also be the front runner given that he 'knows the club'.
  15. Same was with home fans couple years ago when we got battered, as I get free tickets via work. Head in hands that one They weren't even singing til 4 nil up... Worst thing is I'm also a Bristol rovers fan so hate going to the stadium full stop!
  16. That's not a Rovers shirt though. It may be a football shirt but it certainly has absolutely nothing to do with this club.
  17. Its supposed to be a 150 years anniversary not another excuse for the Club to scam a few quid off the supporters.
  18. I know its my opinion. Whereas yours is seemingly that £90 for a football shirt is reasonable.
  19. I think there is going to be a 'range' of stuff so I suppose this could be something else from the selection rather than the match worn shirt itself.
  20. That's the only straw Im clutching on to. The white one shown did appear to have official Rovers branding on it though on the label and at the bottom if you zoomed in.
  21. It's not clear at all that the white kit is official. It does seem to feature the Marcon and Rovers' logos, but in the blurb it says: (bold added) "This commemorative shirt beautifully captures the essence of Rovers' illustrious past whilst embracing modern performance standards. The classic design features the iconic blue and white halved shirt that has become synonymous with Blackburn's rich heritage, evoking memories of legendary players and historic triumphs, including the club's remarkable Premier League title victory in 1995."
  22. You're assuming Rovers are going to secure a large quantity of stock and then sell them at a reasonable price in the shop. Neither are guaranteed with this lot. Quite capable of only ordering a couple of boxes from Macron and running out straight away, or only making them available to players on the day. I wouldn't put anything past them. If they were interested in making cash out of this you'd expect a bit more than radio silence 4 days before the big day.
  23. Listen to the latest 4000 Holes podcast later this week for a chance to win a free 12 month NordVPN subscription…👌
  24. A fool and his money are easily parted. It looks cheap and poor quality (if that is it)
  25. What is your definition of ‘plenty’? At £90 it will do well to sell 100. We only sell about 5k season tickets at about 3x that price. You live in La-La land
