  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, because their decision making is SOOO logical and 2+2 is always 4. Who knows what they’re planning!? Genuinely.
  3. Yep. Just tell the truth, and keep telling the truth.
  4. That will be where the Dele Ali links are fromπŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ
  5. So from a fans perspective if a couple of million pops up, which RW do we want?
  6. They're getting you arguing amongst yourselves again.
  7. Presumably so they can try and flog the one off kit as well as the home kit.
  8. He hasn't though has he. If that money was there he would be through the door. Gestede has said that any sales don't add to the initial budget, so where is that money for a marquee coming from? From previous sales over the past 2 seasons the expenditure is pitiful. It is not sustainable to sell your best players constantly and not reinvest in similar.
  9. Correct, he’s a right sided attacking midfielder. Hes not a winger, which confused me originally, but he is a perfect inverted forward. I actually agree that we need more attacking options. I’m just piecing together the thinking in these signings against the way VI wants to play. Its just my opinion.
  10. Maybe VI has been promised a β€˜Cantwell-esque’ marquee signing?
  11. Ah, so close yet so far. I loved JDT's response when he was asked what he'd have done in that position - "scored"
  12. Anything that requires cost, planning, time, or effort forget about it. This the club that couldn't be arsed with programmes any more because it was all just too much effort, and one look around Ewood Park tells us all we need to know about the levels of pride around the place. When basic maintenance and cleanliness are too much effort and cost then celebrating an anniversary forget about it. At best we are going to get the usual twitter videos with a dozen 'legends' and it sounds like they might have commissioned a one-off kit (why you'd do it for a one-off game rather than the whole season I don't know). I'm at the point I'm almost glad that this regime isn't trying to exploit past glories and pride for its own ends. Personally I don't think they should attempt to capitalise on the pre-2010 history of this club when all they've done is disgrace it.
  13. He's slower than Hyam, not particularly strong either considering his height. Seems to be good on the ball though.
  14. Henriksson is an attacking midfielder, not a deep lying one Our Scandinavian forum members over the weekend also thought he will likely play as one of the 3 behind the striker
  15. He would, but he would have inexplicably chipped it. 🀬🀬
  16. The Scottish side of my family are split between Celtic and the Hibees, they speak very highly of Miller and one of my uncles (Hibs) who takes an interest in Rovers says he has a modern Lucas Neill feel about him. Aggressive, physical and likes getting forward.
  17. Sell Trav for Β£4m, buy Baradji for Β£1.5m and pay off Mafoumbi.
  18. Helps when you can't afford/refuse to pay for an actual proper winger I suppose. If they manage to offload Travis and bring in Baradji that would surely be close to Suhail's dream window in terms of replacing the higher wage earners and bringing in cheaper ones.
  19. Imagine they'll be asking for about 4 million for Travis, being club captain etc... Eustace will be pushing their board to do it but they won't be as keen as they'll probably get him for free in a year.
  20. According to yourself as I recall, that was only done to appease Eustace as he was unhappy last summer and threatened to walk out. I doubt VI is cut from the same material.
  21. Great. I'd rather he could play football.
  22. I firmly believe it is Pasha getting rattled easily that has caused this situation with the minutes being delayed and edited. He will not want an official version of events to be out in the public domain, if it paints him a bad light.
  23. Surely not. For all the written down changes in formation, and talk about "creating overloads" and moving "in between the lines" we would still be desperately short of attacking threat with a player who has mainly played left back at his previous club on one side and a central midfielder on the other. I still think that we will sign a right winger, whether he will be any good is another question. Doesnt have to be an out and out old fashioned winger, but we need someone who can give us an extra goal threat and ideally some pace and directness, rather than shoehorning in a central midfielder. I am not sure what the exact plan will be for Henriksson. He is a midfielder who seemingly offers a goal threat so maybe cover for Cantwell, but also seems to be someone who gets stuck in so maybe an alternative to Baradji and either eventual or immediate replacement for Travis. Either way, signing a central midfielder to play on the right seems a bit of a stretch.
  24. ZERO chance we spend anything more than 1m on a player. Likely ever again. A marquee signing would also require marquee wages. That is also not happening.
