  1. Past hour
  2. Not relied upon in League One playoffs by the underdogs. Get rid. Take whatever you can get.
  3. Agree, he's not show anything to suggest he's championship.. Would love to see him step up and prove me wrong.
  4. Do I want Wharton to do well? Sure. If I turn on and see Crystal Palace playing, I hope he plays well (although I couldn't care less about how they do). If anything I sort of want them to do badly. They got a potential bargain from us and many of their supporters speak as if they 'discovered' him. That's annoying. I'm sure there are other fanbases who have felt the same way about players that we have taken as our own or treated like we plucked out of nowhere, but I have no interest in fueling that particular mindset by supporting them as if they did us some favour by signing him.
  5. Always liked the yellow and green West Brom, Bomber Brown away strip in the 70s
  6. Markanday is certainly not an exciting winger. Well, unless you ask rigger.
  7. No issue with Hedges staying he's a good squad man and probably won't be on big money but i just hope Ismael sees him as more of an away day starter than home one Or preferably he isn't seen as a starter at all if we can get something fresher in attacking wise.

  9. Hedges is limited in an attacking sense (too slow, can't dribble etc) but he is very solid defensively and helps his FB to shut down a side of the pitch, it's why managers like him that he works so hard defensively and in the press. He also adds a bit of experience to the winger group which is otherwise untested once we let Dolan leave. I wouldn't start him but he is a useful guy to have in the squad and to come of the bench when defending a lead/draw. People are quick to call for a more exciting attacker like Markanday but then slam him for being lazy defensively; ideally a player should do both (Dolan on one of his good days is close in that regard). Also we know any replacement would just be cheaper and worse...
  10. 2nd Saturday in June, as per the image Wils posted earlier today
  11. When does the League publish the lists? End of May?
  12. Completely agreed. But I wouldn’t think it weird to watch Madrid games and hope he wins or for younger fans to buy Bellingham Madrid shirts.
  13. Case number 1 tomorrow. 🎶We are top of the list I said we are top of the list 🎶 Will the judge turn up…
  14. Congratulations all round.
  15. Just a thought and it dies have a cryptic message this. What about the 4,000 hole fanzine having a sub name. 4,000 Holes coming to you from a stand for Tony.
  16. Jen is amazing, used to sit in front of her at Ewood and always enjoyed a catch up, refreshingly positive in every way
  17. The newspaper from after the 1928 final.
  18. Heading into next season with the same problems we had this.
  19. Ahhh thankyou, https://rovers.co.uk/news/2025/may/19/rovers-fans--bring-the-trophy-home--with-epic-charity-walk-/ Ah yes it was Jen with Mahktars cardboard cut out 👏 welldone Jen!
  20. People keep mentioning his versatility when scraping the barrel for positives. Is he versatile? Is being equally ineffective on either the left or right wing versatility? Its the low cost and ease of the deal which made it inevitable.
  21. There is an honesty and work rate to Hedges game that I've always respected, and I'm sure if you are a full back you are very happy to have him covering you. I have to say though, I thought he struggled this season and would be concerned if he played as much next season as he did this.
  22. Hedges is a useful squad player. Triggering the extension is a good move. He'd likely be more costly to replace and I'm not sure I would actually extend his deal, but his versatility makes him useful and he wasn't bad in some of the matches towards the end of the season. He may be a good fit for our new system, but I don't want to see him starting.
  23. A wide man with 1 goal and 2 assists in a season in which he played the majority of games. A wide man who isnt quick, isnt tricky and cant beat a man. A wide man who has lots of red flags with injury. But hes cheap and requires no negotiation so sign him up.
  24. Good hardworking squad player, ok defensively. wouldn't have him anywhere near starting line up though. I think it's good to keep him one extra year, if kargbo doesn't work out we've no wingers..
  25. So is the Women's team defunct ( I use the word advisedly) or not?
  26. At best (for him) he's here to sit on the bench when Pears moves on. If Pears stay, then I imagine he's just here to travel with the 1st teams as the 3rd choice keeper. Michelski shouldn't be used for that role at his age as it will stunt his development, he needs a season playing every week where it's for our under 21's or if he can get a National League/League 2 loan somewhere and play.
