  1. Past hour
  2. Great kit, horrendous marketing shots. Looks like it’s taken in someone’s garden, wearing trainers as well. Terrible
  3. Port Vale releasing a 150th anniversary kit. Looks a beauty.
  4. Professional Men who had the best interests of The Rovers at Heart indeed. Guided the Club through financial hard times as we watched other local Clubs tumble down the Leagues. I yearn for a return to those Days.
  5. Boycotting would give the club an excuse to downplay its importance…go, ask the awkward Q’s, keep shining a bright light into dark corners… …just don’t get sidetracked by the trivia of what flavour pies will be trialled next season 😉
  6. He's the one that parted the Vegemite Sea
  7. Was meant to be June, but a new date of mid July has been proposed. Aware there are loads of views that people should boycott, but if Pasha is cutting off all other communication with fans, I think it’s a meeting that should go ahead, tbh.
  8. Cold Tuesday nights in the dead of winter were hard enough when the times were good. No way would I be able to handle it seeing us play Swansea with about 6000 rattling around Ewood, depressing beyond belief.
  9. We scored very near to the end of the game if I remember rightly. I went over with a mate of mine who’s a Villa fan.
  10. Is that some Australian religious bloke ?
  11. When is the next one of these? You would think they would be desperate for some good publicity before the next one, be it a signing or whatever but I don't think anyone cares. Good luck with Pasha/Gestede and co, if they even bother showing up. Can they get away with just sending Lynsey Talbot to field questions and then they will "get back to you"?
  12. Rover's astute transfer dealing!! Been a while. Should keep the lights on for a couple of weeks!
  13. Venkys have no control as to whether they get granted a No Objection Certificate. The bonds are a condition of the certificate being granted. The court cases are them fighting back against this. It is not as simple as them just paying a bond to send money over. There are both external and internal impediments to them sending over funds. None of these facts absolve them of responsibility in any way. If it's that much of a bother to them then they should sell up and fuck off.
  14. Can absolutely identify with that! The light from oncoming traffic diffuses so much now, I hardly know where I 'm going!
  15. He already is, tbf.
  16. Today
  17. Agreed. The club I grew up supporting ended in 2010. This is just a 15 year anniversary of venky rovers nothing more than that.
  18. We will find out in time to come, if anyone ever bothers asking Dolan, that what is reported and claimed in the media and what actually happens at Rovers' end are two very different things. As I keep pointing out - it is free and easy to put it out in the twittersphere or feed tid bits to Jackson/Bayes that the club are working hard, trying everything, making offers. That costs nothing and in return you get lots of fans swallowing it as the truth and believing a certain version of things. All the evidence in terms of what actually happens however shows that the club's approach - not just with Dolan but with pretty much every senior player going back 5 years - is failing and nobody should overlook that or forget it. Already I am seeing too much of a focus on Dolan and his supposed desire to play in the PL as though this is the issue and it is his desire to play at a higher level that is the issue here. I call BS on that, the issue here is that Rovers have failed to sort out an appropriate extension in a timely manner, just like they have with everyone else and the excuses will follow in time to come with those as well.
  19. Believe me, that is not an ITK account.
  20. Prior to Waggott's stint we didn't have a CEO or Chairman for 7 years. These awful owners have never seen any need for one, and I believe only agreed to bring Waggott in after Mowbray pushed hard for it and they were persuaded that it would pay for itself by way of cost cuts. Now we are in a new era of Venky cutbacks I'd say all the signs point towards another period of having no CEO and basically the staff down there 'making do'. Of course at a normal functioning organisation they would have prepared for Waggott's departure and have got someone new lined up ready to start work now whilst the demands and responsibilities of matchdays aren't there. I'm sure it won't be long before some people are saying that these are all reasons why we should have kept Waggott and 'be careful what you wish for' because the alternative to him is likely to be worse. I'm personally past that point - all I wish for is an end to this ownership regime and nothing less will do.
  21. Back down South now, feet up,Cigar and counting the Millions in the Piggy Bank. Grin like a Chesire Cat.Easy.
