mike at picture
I reckon Villa Park will come into the equation if we are drawn against Southerners. Anfield if we get The Rags
grizfoot
I'd expect if we end up playing United it will be at Anfield. Will have to wait and see though.
Claytons Left Boot
Villa Park would be best. An allocation of around 19k which we would sell out, relatively easy to get to and a cracking atmosphere. Here's hoping for Watford there. We may sell around 25k for Old Trafford but there would be acres of empty seats and the same goes for The Emirates. My God, knowing the Blackburn public most would want bussing to London for free. Great result today, I said to my mate that it would not make any difference going down to 10 men against City. They are poor, very, very poor. And, with regard to a topic doing the Messageboard rounds a few months back on the lack of progress with our youth set up.....academy player to academy player..........bang! 2-0! Roll on the semi. SIMON GARNERS 194
Villa park and all the Rovers fans in the Holte end stand! .....19k will be sold easily and the stay aways will have to cry into their beer glasses. Maybe that will teach 'em.
Will
I'd expect if we end up playing United it will be at Anfield. Will have to wait and see though. There is no way they will let Utd play at Anfield. Utd Rovers will be at Villa Park.
Ozz
Surely Utd Rovers would be at Eastlands, approx half way between the two clubs fanbase?
spanishblue
I have a problem folks, Mr Barclaycard has said that I can only make 1 trip (with my son) back to the UK to see a football match. Do I come back for the semis or wait (head in hands etc) to see if we make it to the final.??????? Also, is the final definately at Wembley???? If we make it to the final I don't want to book flights back to London only to find we are playing at Cardif. Any help appreciated

cn174
Scousers played Chelski at Theatre of Merchandising last season. Yea but Man U and Aston Villa have been the traditional semi final venues for quite a while now - excluding ours at Cardiff
OJRovers
Great win today, was one of the matches of the season for me. Brilliant atmosphere in the BBE, good to see the walkersteel stand going crazy too.

That said however, they are the same breed that send Burnley to Southend on a Tuesday night.

Derby Blue
Interesting listening to Robbie Savage after the game, basically saying we would be getting one of the big clubs in the semis. Richard Keyes asked what he was implying, he replied with words pretty much like "I'm not saying the draws a fix but I'd be very surprised if we get Plymouth or Watford". A look of disgust followed from Keyes and the interview suddenly went off at a tangent. Suppose he's only echoing what every fan in the country is thinking right now. Quite funny watching though. Apologies, hadn't realised this has been mentioned on the savage thread
Dan
Great win today, was one of the matches of the season for me. Brilliant atmosphere in the BBE, good to see the walkersteel stand going crazy too. Your so very right, was in the family stand, blackburn end upper. Which I was worried about beforehand, but was a brilliant atmosphere. Infact it is half tempting to get my season ticket there, if I don;t get a good seat in the Blackburn End. A young lad behind us had me and missus in stitches Singing 'barney army' and 'penalty!' whenever Rovers were fouled anywhere on the pitch. Great atmosphere, usual friendly bunch, pity I had to walk with all the bitter citeh fans back to car at Darwen high school.. Was thinking it was gonna kick off any minute. The draw always seems fishy to me, however, can it REALLY be fixed? Anything involving Man Yoo and Chelski would not suprise me, but surely that kind of thing would be such a huge scandal? I guess we'll see, would be great to get Watford, but I think we'd probably have more chance of beating Chelsea/Tottenham! What with our record against the bottom three teams! mike at picture
Some posts on the Official mb confirm gate at 27k+. Isnt Ewood capacity over 31k? There were simply not 3k empty seats there today. What is going on? Is this some kind of tax fiddle?

mike at picture
In total there was probably about 1500-2000 spare seats in the family stand Fair enough. Couldn't see that from my seat in the BBE. Poor turnout again then.
Paul
Surprised no one has mentioned the appalling behaviour by around 20 Rovers fans in the bottom corner of the BBE. The stewards were escorting out a Rovers fan, the one Tugay had insisted the stewards shepherd to the BBE, only for the stewards to be set on by around 20 chavs. Utter scum. Glad to see the whole thing was caught on video, with luck they will be prosecuted and excluded from Ewood for life. Completely took the edge off my afternoon. I hope the club get every single one of them, disgusted by this behaviour by people who purport to support Blackburn Rovers.
