Backroom Tom Posted April 13, 2011 Backroom Posted April 13, 2011 I feel for Gomez really, he's a good keeper but makes mistakes and then suffers from confidence problems. Still Crouch is the man to blame if Spurs fans wanted to point the finger
Nelsta Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Shame gomez forgets his blunders and turns to superman against us.
Backroom DE. Posted April 13, 2011 Backroom Posted April 13, 2011 Shame gomez forgets his blunders and turns to superman against us. Indeed, was about to say, we could have done with one of those cock-ups when we played them
neekoy Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 United won't be troubled by Schalke. Schalke are just a worse version of United. Can they beat Real Madrid or Barcelona in the final? That I'm not so sure about if they don't have Ferdinand fit, but I fully expect them to make the final now. Rooney was fantastic tonight. His cross-field passing was from another world. That really is the sort of role that he should always look to play. Care to have a no money wager? (I gave up betting), a sig bet... If Schalke make it to the final you must have "NEEKOY KNOWS MORE ABOUT FOOTBALL THEN ME AND I BOW TO HIS FOOTBALLING PROWESS" until 2012..... IF United make it through, I will put whatever you want.
Eddie Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 Bet taken. Just put the same line as your sig (but obviously with Eddie in there instead of Neekoy)

That really is the sort of role that he should always look to play. They won't have it all their own way. Since Magath has gone, Schalke have been a completley different team. More like the team from the previous season.
Eddie Posted April 15, 2011 Posted April 15, 2011 I'm not saying that they will have it entirely all their own way, but if you had told them back in August that they would be playing against Schalke in the Champions League Semi-Final...well I think they would have been pretty happy.
Eddie Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Schalke have Neuer to thank for still being in this tie. Terrific performance from him so far.
Eddie Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 1-0 United. They have been a different class so far tonight. 2-0 now.
Rovermatt Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Rovers headed down and United set for another Champions League triumph. What an effing write-off of a season.
Eddie Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Rovers headed down and United set for another Champions League triumph. What an effing write-off of a season. You're just a bundle of joy. Neekoy, I'll send you a rough draft of your new sig soon.
imy9 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Pedro- hang your head in shame, goes down clutching his face nowhere near it, oh look Busquets does the same thing, embarrassing.
Mattyblue Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Peter Drury is the most pretentious, cliche spouting 'commentator' there is. yada yada yada non stop RIP Brian Moore.
adopted scouser Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Leaving out the keepers, 20 whining, diving poofters. This is painful to watch
imy9 Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 I can understand Real doing it but Barca are supposed to be promoting the beautiful game, some of their theatrics are pathetic.
LeChuck Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Leaving out the keepers, 20 whining, diving poofters. This is painful to watch I'd put up with that if the football was good. It's the worst game I've seen in ages. Nothing interesting about watching a team keep possession.
Eddie Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Absolutely terrible match. 'Greatest side ever' Barcelona can't create anything.
magicalmortensleftpeg Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Absolutely terrible match. 'Greatest side ever' Barcelona can't create anything. Real have 11 men behind the ball. They playing purely to stop Barca. If Barca score then the whole thing will kick off, but for the time being its clear that Mourinho is petrified of losing an away goal.
Backroom Tom Posted April 27, 2011 Backroom Posted April 27, 2011 Such a shame, 2 of the best teams in the world and what we get is an embarassment to the sport!

If Barca score then the whole thing will kick off, but for the time being its clear that Mourinho is petrified of losing an away goal. Real Madrid have looked the more threatening. Barcelona have spent this entire game making the most of every challenge in the hope of getting a Real player sent off and they finally managed it. Disgusting play.
JAL Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Absolutely terrible match. 'Greatest side ever' Barcelona can't create anything. Masherano is in the Barca team what on earth do you expect ? A massive handicap!
RibbleValleyRover Posted April 27, 2011 Posted April 27, 2011 Shocking decision to send Pepe off. Pedro really is a ######, going down like he has been shot everytime. Finally that theatrical ###### goes off! Great finish by Messi, 51st goal of the season. Messi with an even better finish for his second goal. Best player in the world.
