3rdpillar Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Who is going to the game and how many tickets do we have? Me, I have a ticket. Don't know about you.
Hughesy Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 A draw would be a very good point & an improvement A win would be excellent. Here's hoping we can take one of them.
waggy Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 not suprised we have returned tickets,i'm in liverpoo on the ###### and a glance up at the full times will tell me what i already know stokelongthrows 2 v rovershoofball 0
Clitherover Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Me, I have a ticket. Don't know about you. Well done. I'm impressed.
Ozz Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Are there any redeeming features about going to Stoke as an away fan?
G Somerset Rover Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I'm sounding like a broken record I know but just to confirm that Dunny and Vince are still out. As for the game, not one for the purists but I reckon we can nick a draw: Stoke 1 Rovers 1
CrazyIvan Posted October 1, 2010 Author Posted October 1, 2010 Are there any redeeming features about going to Stoke as an away fan? The atmosphere is usually good... Free parking and a night out for me and my wife as her sister lives 5 minutes walk from the ground
67splitscreen Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Do they not know Sam is our manager. Suggested team line ups.
gumboots Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Are there any redeeming features about going to Stoke as an away fan? Are there any redeeming features about going to Stoke full stop? One of the worst places I've ever been to and I come from Teesside so that says a lot.
modes98 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Do they not know Sam is our manager. Suggested team line ups. erm that's how we have lined up most of the season 4-2-3-1, worked pretty well. I'm trying the Man City approach and going out with the same girl again during the game so hopefully we will get a result.

Steve Moss Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Stoke 1-2 Rovers. And we'll be on the edge of our seats the entire match.
AspRover Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Its not home/away form we should be worrying about. I may be dead wrong, but off the top of my head we won outside of Lancashire only once last season and we're yet to do so this season.
beerwins Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I dunno why but I feel were going to win this, after our terrible performance last year I expect the team to be up for this and Sam. I feel a 1-0 EHD the scorer and Samba to prove heroic in defense.
Mr. E Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 This looks like a 4-4 or 5-5 game. (highest number of consecutive short passes)
Ozz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Are there any redeeming features about going to Stoke full stop? One of the worst places I've ever been to and I come from Teesside so that says a lot. I used to like going to Shelleys in Longton.
Ozz Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Rovers tried to sign Ken Jones this summer, but could not afford it. From his Stoke performances so far this season he would have a good signing for us I reckon. But he was too expensive, according to Sam Allardyce. In a way it's a bit like me thinking I would like to go down Saville Row and buy a new Ozwald Boateng suit only to find out when I get there it was £500. So I then have to go back up north to Primark for a loan of grey hooded top.
Iceman Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Stoke 0-3 Rovers. M Diouf, Benjani and Salgado with the goals.
philipl Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Big test for Sam today. Up against another scrapping knowledgeable manager who has better players in one or two decisive areas. Cannot see us winning but we might scrape a draw.
Inta Beaver Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 When Stoke are expecting to win they tend to struggle, so I think we are in with a shout today.
MarkBRFC71 Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 A draw would be a great result. My prediction: 0-0 or 1-0 to Stoke. The least football ever seen in 90 Premier League minutes, and the shortest amount of time ever devoted to a game on MoTD.
Bobby G Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 How many ppl we reckon are going from our side?
Inta Beaver Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 I have got a spare ticket if anyone wants it? Row 28, it will be for a knock down price, I've heard we are selling tickets at Stoke so if anyone wants it let me know!
