Waggy76 Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 And what if we'd kept Sam and gone on the same run of form as Kean? You could make that argument for anything. Our current problems reach far beyond sacking Allardyce. He never figured in the Venky's equation. Trying to use his dismissal as a constant stick to beat supporters is ridiculous. I regard the sacking of Sam , as a stick to beat the Venkys with.Because that day of total madness is going to cost BRFC its premier league status, more than likely for good in my lifetime , and I am bloody annoyed !!!
Grez Posted December 14, 2011 Posted December 14, 2011 Just wondered who added a 7th vote for Kean to stay, then saw that it was a notlob fan... Makes sense!

booth Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Just wondered who added a 7th vote for Kean to stay, then saw that it was a notlob fan... Makes sense! Should be an instant ban in my opinion. Otherwise what's to stop 100 rival team fans signing up and doing the same? Would put off people from doing silly votes (which has also been admitted to by members on here).
Amo Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 In your (and Gav's) dreams Topman! Looks like everyone got the point bar you.
John Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 And on the 15th day of Christmas, my true love said to me, SACK STEVE KEAN!

roverandout Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 great peice from lifes a pitch, nailed on the head, not sure if people will agree about robinson though
John Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 "Blackburn can't survive while Steve Kean is manager" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbUpAVP95us Horrible watching that however can't argue with much of what was discussed - Lipton was pretty scathing.
Uxbridge rover Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Couldn't believe my eyes, journo's being sympathetic towards our fans and talking sense!! I had a lump in my throat listening to this. It really hurts whats happened to our club.
47er Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Looks like everyone got the point bar you. Then let's hope the Indians have understood you too!
LeChuck Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Who is that man? Nice to hear someone backing the stance of the fans, he seems to get how ludicrous our predicament is. That show was quite informed, it's not often you hear clubs outside of the top six get that much discussion. Edit: I see it is Martin Lipton from the Mirror.
John Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 They were just saying it how it is without the generic waffle we hear from Shearer and the like, you don't become a bad manager overnight.
47er Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 "Blackburn can't survive while Steve Kean is manager" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbUpAVP95us Wow! First time I've heard it said like it is amongst the media. Agreed with every word. What a disgrace.
jim mk2 Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Our current problems reach far beyond sacking Allardyce. No they don't. The team's problems and our current league position are all down to his sacking. If they had not sacked him whether he would have stayed is another matter.

No Jim, the current problems began with sacking Allardyce, they continued with every other bad decision Venky's have made since.
liam Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Well I hope somebody can send that to the venkys.
Backroom DE. Posted December 15, 2011 Backroom Posted December 15, 2011 If they had not sacked him whether he would have stayed is another matter. I can't imagine Allardyce would have been able to work with Venky's. IMO he would have left in the summer.
Kelbo Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Then let's hope the Indians have understood you too! Those bloody Indians dont seem to understand anything, total fools!
John Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Probably goes for most decent, credible managers.
47er Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I can't imagine Allardyce would have been able to work with Venky's. IMO he would have left in the summer. Agree with that.
booth Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Saw a car with Kean Out clearly written on the back window today
