RibbleValleyRover Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Today just shows to me that the manager is so tactically inept that we are still in some serious trouble and haven't turned the corner. Disorganised, no passion and no fight. Far too easy for Newcastle.

Mattyblue Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Here's an idea Steve, don't spend a week spouting off in the media and concentrate on actually getting a run of results going.
Backroom Tom Posted September 24, 2011 Backroom Posted September 24, 2011 Chris Samba you are a disgrace!
Hi Mack Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 If we had any respectable owners Keans P45 would be sitting on his seat on the coach! Terrible manager and I knew last week was a one off, similar to the Liverpool game last season! KEAN OUT!
Backroom Tom Posted September 24, 2011 Backroom Posted September 24, 2011 I predict 89% in favour of sacking this time
Ben-2000 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I predict 89% in favour of sacking this time That's a sharp rise from 1% In all seriousness though... these polls are pointless as it is pretty clear he is going nowhere.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Even on here 'the man who talks a good game' is working his magic! I have come to the conclusion that Kean is going nowhere. We will bumble through this season, low expections, low league placing, low apathetic Ewood crowds. We must know our place and get used to it,we must simply be happy, clappy to survive in this league now.
Mattyblue Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I predict 89% in favour of sacking this time I know why Glenn keeps resetting it, it's a sociological study as much as anything. But, what's the point in the 'anti Kean lobby' getting in a fluster? He's going nowhere.
Liam0001 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 The managers comments regarding ifs and buts is the same drivel he has been spouting since he has been in charge. Blaming decisions and the third goal, supposed fouls and unfair refereeing decisions that changed the course of the game completely deviates from the fact he is obviously inept. In any job, one is held accountable. Yet, not in his case. The facts are glaringly obvious.. He has to go.
Mercer Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Words almost fail me after today. IMO, a disorganised, unmotivated rabble - how many really, really looked interested. If we'd got done by 6 or 7, there can't have been any complaints. As for Samba, time for him to move on I believe - unfortunately, many top managers have better judgement than ours. You could imagine what the likes of Keeley would have said / done to BA !!! This season, we have accumulated 4 very, very fortunate points. Unless we get a new manager, we are going down.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 His comments after games reminds me of Ince. We all know what would have happened had Ince remained manager...
perthblue02 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Is it true Venky's have just added another 23,991 guests to the "marketing expo" in Pune? This is not a dig but a serious question for somebody who might know, What area of coaching expertise was Kean involved in prior to winning the golden ticket?
NeRvOuS Wr3Ck Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I cant take this no more PLEASE PLEASE sack him now or it WILL be championship football next season.
G Somerset Rover Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Even on here 'the man who talks a good game' is working his magic! I have come to the conclusion that Kean is going nowhere. We will bumble through this season, low expections, low league placing, low apathetic Ewood crowds. We must know our place and get used to it,we must simply be happy, clappy to survive in this league now. We will not survive in this league under Kean.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Couldn't agree more Somerset, only a matter of time before the inevitable happens under this Charlatan.
sijoco Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Any fool could pick up the "odd result" this season with that Rovers squad, it just seems those who want to feed off the good result in five are living in Lala Land. How many matches does Givet need to be exposed before the sorry excuse of a manager notices what 99% of fans have seen for weeks.
Roverall Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 What is left to say that hasn't already been said?
Miker Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Sack him now. By December we'll be staring at relegation, Samba will be fed up, will seek a move and will get it. Hoilett will take a dump on our contract offer before leaving for greener pastures. We'll then be in full-fledged crisis mode. At best we will avoid relegation by the skin of our teeth, which is simply not good enough. Kean's only saving grace is that we actually have some good players with a lot of individual talent. Bring in a manager that can utilise these players well, while actually having the team tactically organised.
Mercer Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 When the support starts to sing "you don't know what you'r doing" as they did when Grella replaced Yak, then the writing is well and truly on the wall. IMO, a mauling next week by City and Ewood will become a cauldron of 'Kean hate'.
Al Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Read this thread Kean! Where are your 98% of fans backing you now? For God's sake have the good grace to resign immediately to save our team from oblivion and the Venkys the loss of face they will have to endure when they finally realise that you have to be sacked. You an utter disgrace and are taking the money under false pretences. KEAN OUT.
Mattyblue Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 When the support starts to sing "you don't know what you'r doing" as they did when Grella replaced Yak, then the writing is well and truly on the wall. IMO, a mauling next week by City and Ewood will become a cauldron of 'Kean hate'. Thing is mercer, it won't. There are a lot at Ewood Park that think we are playing 'great stuff', probably because at home we have never been mauled and they are sucker to a slick PR man like Kean.
roverandout Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 somerset, i am dead against him, i was one of the protesters, so im in no way shape or form a pro-kean merchant, i was willing to give him today to prove himself, which he hasnt because its clear the spineless mob in india wont remove him, i want kean out more than anybody, everyone on this board has known my feelings towards him from day one.
martonrover Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 Back to reality it is then, afterall your opponents arent going to score 2 goals for you every week. one shakey league win and 2 cup wins against lower league opponents is apparently enough to keep football's Mr Clingon ign a job. oh dear
Billy Castell Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 I know I am repeating myself, but Kean out! And he can take Anderson and those useless Indian nobbers with him.
tony gale's mic Posted September 24, 2011 Posted September 24, 2011 As I said before, I have a feeling the Arsenal win will end up either having a neutral, or more likely a negative net effect on our points total this season. The extra time this will have brought him will, IMO end up adding up to more than three points lost.
