cn174 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Bit of unrest at City it seems, some people are saying Tevez refused to come on tonight It was all a bit strange. Mancini subbed De Jong on for Dzeko who wasn't best pleased. Shortly it showed Tevez stressing who apparently didnt want to come on. Then a little later it said that Platt was trying to calm down Zabaletta on the bench.
Kamy100 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Some disarray at City after tonight, especially after Tevez refused to come on during the second half. A bit of hope for Rovers.
Mattyblue Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 OliverKayTimes Oliver Kay Mancini says in post-match press conf that Tevez will never - never - play for Man City again
True Blue & White Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 OliverKayTimes Oliver Kay Mancini says in post-match press conf that Tevez will never - never - play for Man City again Phew, now all we have to worry about is Aguero and Dzeko.
roverandout Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 tevez would be no great loss anyway, his attitude stinks and would only hinder man city. This result and so-called disaray should have no bareing on rovers as we are pish poor anyway and man city should still beat us comfortably.
True Blue & White Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 But City feel a bit silly about this now...
HemelRover Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Some disarray at City after tonight, especially after Tevez refused to come on during the second half. A bit of hope for Rovers. He refuses to play, City refuse to pay. Put him on an unpaid suspension for refusing to perform his contractual duties.
DanLad Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 6 to 1 for City to score 4 or more goals? Is that right? Thanks for confirming, Claire. Whilst I rail severely against this, those odds strike me as fabulous. I'm not a betting man, so I just want to get this right. If I bet a grand I would win 6 grand if City score 4 or more goals.
Mercer Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Put your mortgage on Rovers winning through with the spirit and togetherness in our group that City don't have. City are in disarray and are there for the taking. Now off to bed to dream.
Gav Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 City will probably win by the odd goal, champions league sides don't often perform well after midweek games. Blackburn Rovers 0 Manchester Citeh 1
John Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Phew, now all we have to worry about is Aguero and Dzeko. Mancini not happy with Dzeko either, said he will start their next game on the bench.
Josh Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Mancini not happy with Dzeko either, said he will start their next game on the bench. Now all we have to worry about is Silva and Aguero
tony gale's mic Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Someone should tell the Raos that Tevez is available in January!
perthblue02 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 6 to 1 for City to score 4 or more goals? Is that right? Yeah that was the odds on skybet when i checked My link go down the page to Goals section then Total Team Goals, just checked same odds , but noticed to score section directly underneath 5+ goals was 18/1 You think the bookies are trying to tell us something
Rovermatt Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Strange exchange between Souness and Hughes on Sky this evening. Hughes wasn't quite excusing Tevez's behaviour but seemed to be drawing his opinion from the whole Tevez situation more generally. He has his own issues with City of course however Souness was adamant that Tevez is a 'bad apple' and seemed very unimpressed by Hughes's refusal to condemn the Argentine outright. Frankly I agree with Souness. In fact one can only imagine how he would have reacted had Tevez pulled that nonsense with him. The guy's clearly a cancer in the dressing room; a selfish, stupid, greedy and grossly overpaid individual who epitomises all that is wrong with modern footballers. After 5 years in the Premier League, he still doesn't speak a word of English. He is surrounded by a coterie of craven advisors and hangers-on who steer his every move for their own gain, none more so than that slime Joorabchian. Expect to hear from him in the inevitable PR war. I have little sympathy for City in the main but would strongly advocate their withholding a week's worth of his exorbitant wages. You can bet your bottom dollar Tevez and co would be motivated into moving their arses to get that sorted. It has been apparent in the last few weeks that Tevez hasn't been happy with his situation (poor guy) but his almost unmatched avarice has painted him into a corner where only a handful of clubs can afford to meet his current salary demands and even they can't be bothered with his bullsh*t. Fantastic player, rubbish professional.
BRFC1995 Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 aguero silva znd nasri starting and dropping kolo and richards should ensure 5 - 0 for city, tevez dzeko and ballotelli are crap compared to nasri aguero and silva as its on the ground that we will get done.

Rovermatt Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Don't Hughes and Tevez have the same agent? Didn't know that.
Backroom DE. Posted September 28, 2011 Backroom Posted September 28, 2011 Don't Hughes and Tevez have the same agent? Bingo. Normally this would be a decent time to play City - team in a bit of disarray, fractures appearing in the dressing room (took a whole 4 games or so!) and they've just played a midweek game. Unfortunately having Kean in charge negates all of that. I might just pretend this game isn't happening and forget about football this weekend. Even if we do somehow sneak a fortunate win I don't know if I can stand to see Kean's grinning mug proclaiming the success of his empire of positive thinking and complete tactical disorder.
roverwhelmed Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 This thread has made me smile quite a lot, some funny responses. It says rather a lot that a thread of predictions of massive losses makes me smile these days! I predict 1-4 to City, perhaps more.
neekoy Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 I can see a few goals in this one, I think we are going to get done by 4 goals, whether that is 4-0,5-1,6-2,7-3 I don't know.

Fantastic player, rubbish professional. No one really ever knows these days.. there is so much cloak and dagger stuff going on in the background at football clubs these days that the truth is rarely what us fans get to see. Hughes managed Tevez for a while.. was also at ManCity so I would not be suprised if Hughes comments had some level of reasoning behind them... be it his dislike for the owners or his knowledge of Tevez and events behind the scenes. Fact is the truth (given the amount of legal stuff and cash involved) will probably never really be known and thats the sad state of affairs with football in general as it currently stands.
