Waggy76 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I would be very surprise if Singh and his cohorts have picked the right man !!! The new man needs to be strong and respected in the football world and be allowed to manage unhindered ! Not likely to happen , so come Easter we will be going through this charade again .... If I was Singh ,I would be hammering on the door of Mark Hughes ........
RevidgeBlue Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 According to the Lancs Telegraph, Shebby/Rovers are hopefully of appointing a new manager by tomorrow.its says that Shebby has already send his favoured candidates to Owners venkys Might it not be an idea to ask said candidates if they're interested first? I can't see how they can expect to appoint a new manager tomorrow unless it is already done and dusted. And if it has been done, surely it would have leaked. and unless it's someone extremely underwhelming on both counts
dingles staying down 4ever Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Are the North End two still in India? Shebby maybe hoping to get a new manager whilst those two are still pre-occupied and can't oppose him. Could it be someone previously interviewed when Berg got the job so would not need interviewing again?
G Somerset Rover Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Could it be someone previously interviewed when Berg got the job so would not need interviewing again? Makes me think it could be Grayson. I was potentially up for him last time round but hes on a Berg-esque run with Huddersfield right now.
Waggy76 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Grayson is the Huddersfield manager .... I cannot see it , think the new man will be unemployed ....
bluefred Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 o driscal would be a better choice than hughes,as he knows the championship and what needs to be done, hughes dosent
Andy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 It won't be Di Matteo - one of the Venky's confirmed it wouldn't be the other day. Nor should it be. Average manager who got lucky by taking over a good, but underperforming Chelsea side. Unbelieveably lucky to have 'Champions League winner' on his CV.
blueboy3333 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Knowing these keans we'll probably get Gary Megson
chaddyrovers Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 My guess is the manager we are going to employ is currently unemployed. most likely a Sean O'Driscoll or Sven tbh.
Stuart Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Knowing these keans we'll probably get Gary Megson * click * * BANG * * thud *
CapeTownRover Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If its Megson, then ill just start hitting some random person lol
Uxbridge rover Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 * click ** BANG * * thud * Brilliant, had a proper lol moment.
Backroom Tom Posted December 31, 2012 Backroom Posted December 31, 2012 Why do we set these silly timescales if its not all in the bag Shebby did the same last time and ended up rushing Berg in just to meet his deadline
thenonda Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Why do we set these silly timescales if its not all in the bagShebby did the same last time and ended up rushing Berg in just to meet his deadline I have a hope that the deal was done as per the goal.com article and the delay til tomorrow is a face saving exercise for shebby. A number of people have heard tomorrow and i think they have from Pune not blackburn... I was also thinking, all bad news seems to get leaked maybe just maybe nothing has been leaked because its good news.... #yeahright
imy9 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 It won't be Di Matteo - one of the Venky's confirmed it wouldn't be the other day.Nor should it be. You might want to look at our league position first dude, the bloke has got zero chance of coming here as he is destined for bigger things.
Pedro Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 My preferred choice would be Grant Hanley as player manager.
