Stuart Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 haha it happening stu , 6-0 we rise to this game .Just said 5-0 to my lad.Trouble is I could never see Bowyer taking the shackles off at 1-0, maybe 2-0 to do so. Best leave the team talk, tactics, and subs to Dunny today, Gaz!

The Rover of Finland Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Will be travelling back home during the first half. Hope the match is for us when opening my phone and the second leg is beginning. Is Cairney back? Please no Lowe-Williamson duo. Bowyer should be sacked if he ever again starts with both of them!
Stuart Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 IT'S ROVERS DAY!!!! Please change the thread title. +1
AggyBlue Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 If we lose today the 34 years immediately then becomes 4 years, to them. If we do. One defeat in 34 years doesn't sound bad anyway.
Blue blood Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Am so excited for this but a little bit nervous too. Bowyer's capable of strokes of genius and madness - wonder which we'll see today? Really hoping Evans is fit, and Jordan decides it's time he wants to start scoring again.
Backroom Tom Posted March 9, 2014 Backroom Posted March 9, 2014 I'm convinced Jordan is scoring today lets just make sure it's the opening goal and we kick on from there Hope the ref remembers the new rules today, remember if jts a red card on the halfway line the other team gets to chose whether they want a red card or a penalty

The only 1 piece of real genius in my time supporting Rovers 44yrs .. Was the appointment of Kenny Dalglish ! That gave us real credence ...

Or am I missing a bit of mirth there?
Husky Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I'm setting off now guys. Whatever you do and wherever you follow the game from. Have fun (yeah right, hahahaha).
Backroom Tom Posted March 9, 2014 Backroom Posted March 9, 2014 When Willybobs got his red card the hill trolls on their forums said it should have been a penalty or the offended team should have the choice
den Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 When Willybobs got his red card the hill trolls on their forums said it should have been a penalty or the offended team should have the choice Ah right!
Waggy76 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Early slurp awaits ..... See what today brings ... Meltdown on here either way unless its a draw ...
JBiz Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Heart is pumping already. Let's @#/? have it. Jason Lowe is gonna kick the @#/? out of everyone of them
Colt Seavers Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I must say that all this parochial tub thumping is heartening to say the least, but anyone unfortunate enough to have witnessed the shambles at Bolton will be distinctly uneasy about the game today. The plain truth is that we are worse than the last time we met Burnley and they are far better! Bowyer must allow some creativity into his team otherwise we face a thrashing.
Willie Eckerslike Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 First pint about to be downed in Hare and Hounds then onwards toward Ewood Have a good one everyone!
ABBEY Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Just driven past the accy dingles .. Don't think they appreciated my singing.

Agreed, it is making me feel the slightest bit of optimism but for me, optimism is the enemy today. Set your expectations low, it will be all the funnier if they fail.
LDRover Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Heart is pumping already. Let's keaning have it. Jason Lowe is gonna kick the kean out of everyone of them I'll settle for him making a tackle.

Neal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 ROVERS: Robinson, Henley, Hanley ©, Keane, Spurr, Conwy, Lowe, Evans, Varney, Dunn, Rhodes... Henley is where they'll hurt us.
