rishtonrover Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Most PKE fans I've had the misfortune to talk to support 2 clubs. Whoever is winning everything at the time and they also have their Tinpot club.

S60tti_BRFC Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Can we expect to see a few Rovers in the home ends then? Either way, its got the potential to be an absolutely fantastic day out. Going 2-0 Rovers

A guy who used to run our local pub team was Preston born and bred but both him an his kids plus his life long best pall used to come in the pub one week in North End shirts then next in Utd shirts, you couldn't make it up. Another lad I know who's a passionate Nobber ST holder and big big Rovers hater also goes watch Liverpool when he can and has donned the red shirt at 5 a side and in the pub, when they nearly won the league Also a few years back when I lived down C-L-W, and this is all true, a bunch of guys from Whittle who worked for a local paint and decorating firm where the biggest PKE fans ever when it came to talking the talk. Yet all 5 of these had ST's at Old Trafford because they wanted to watch good football and the boss used to sort it for them, we'd deffo be at Preston though if they get to the Prem, said the big guy. No wonder if find this lot bizarre.
LDRover Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I'm going to the TO tomorrow morning, can anyone confirm there are still tickets available?
Guest Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I'm going to the TO tomorrow morning, can anyone confirm there are still tickets available? Tickets are still available but, if possible, you might better doing it online to save any potential disappointment. Correction. Looks like there are none available according to OneRovers. Sold out, perhaps.
Mattyblue Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 From the official twitter account last night: Blackburn Rovers @OneRovers 21h21 hours ago @neilfarran I suspect all of the online allocation have sold out, best to call the ticket office from 9am Monday to see if any are left.
Mercer Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Can we expect to see a few Rovers in the home ends then? Either way, its got the potential to be an absolutely fantastic day out. Going 2-0 Rovers I've got tickets in Tom Finney. Not too sure how stringent PNE are in checking addresses, ID etc when purchasing either at Deepdale or online. I have an online account with purchasing history so was okay. 4-1 to Rovers.
donnermeat Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Deepdale is going to be fecking bouncing next week, can't wait!
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 I remember going over there in the later 1960's. Rovers really gave it a go that day and won in a canter 5-3. Mike Ferguson was in that un playable mood and gave the PNE left back a game he'll like to forget. Some of the big clubs were watching the full back ( John Ritchie ? ) apparently but that was the end of it for him. Alan Gilliver got the first with a Gestede style bullet header from a Fergie cross. I think Barry Hole got a couple more and Malcolm Darling smashed one in from a goal mouth scramble. Can't think who got the fifth. I'm on holiday so I've no access to my record books. Great day out though. Just an edit - I can recall Fergie picking the ball up and running towards the full back and dummying to go outside and then coming back on the inside, I was right in line with the run and Fergie sent the full back, me, and about fifty blokes stood all around me the wrong way with the dummy. We all laughed at the ridiculousness of it !
BlueMonday Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Sell out on One Rovers. Was going to come out of exile and bring my boy down from Scotland for the first game of the new era.
JAL Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 It should be an electric atmosphere from the Rovers fans on Saturday think the club might have to ask Bristol City for more tickets for the Ashton Gate game.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Sell out on One Rovers. Was going to come out of exile and bring my boy down from Scotland for the first game of the new era. Make that at Home to Wednesday Azuri...let's have at least another 2-3,000 turning out!
Cherry Blue Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Where's best place to park at Deepdale?
Tyrone Shoelaces Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Nobbers think they will turn us over! What else is new ?
Backroom Tom Posted November 15, 2015 Backroom Posted November 15, 2015 Gutted I'm not going to this now feels like the dawn of a new era (optimism is a bad thing)
Lancs Rover Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Where's best place to park at Deepdale? Not sure but things might have moved on a tad since 1939...

About as accurate as the notion the world is flat mind....
Mercer Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Gutted I'm not going to this now feels like the dawn of a new era (optimism is a bad thing) Have you got any friends / family with a Preston postcode ? Think they start Brindle / Houghton way. If you have, get the tickets online. Have taken my allocation so can't help.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 'Kin ell Nobber!.. they had to put 'DEEPDALE THIS WAY' in ten foot neon lights around Preston since your promotion.
