Really looking forward to seeing how we line up.

I looked up his team at Norwich and to be honest we already have alot of the types of players Lambert likes so it'll be interesting!

Going to Backpool last year mid morning was a bit of a nightmare. All carriages were full at Blackburn and, by the time we got to Blackpool, I felt a bit sorry for those who were going with their kids for a day out. I expect Saturday could be a little similar at peak times to the semi at old Trafford where you simply couldn't actually get on some of the trains.

for that semi-final I got on the train at wilpshire , it was pandemonium when it arrived in Blackburn

My mates and I are planning to catch the train from Pleasington, however I'm now wondering whether the train will be full by the time it reaches Pleasington (having already stopped at Blackburn, Mill Hill and Cherry Tree stations amongst others first). Does anyone know how many carriages there usually are on that train and how likely it is to be full by the time it reaches Pleasington?

Thanks in advance.

Been having to get that train almost every day for past month due to car break down... Usually always 4 carriages. There is also 2 busses that run to and from Preston, one via Preston old road and one via Preston new road. For those thinking of catching train at mill hill, you could catch the preston bus at the 4 way crossing at Witton park as an alternative.

Yes, I think we may have to get a taxi to Blackburn station. Shame as Pleasington is a lot more convenient given that we'll be having a few pints in The Feildens before we catch the train.

Could catch the preston bus outside Fieldings arms.

Train leaves Accy before getting to Blackburn as well!

I meant that a lot of rovers fans from Accy would get on before Blackburn.

Bpool north usually 4 carriages. Bpool south usually 2 carriages. Both stop at Bburn and Preston, but only Bpool south stops at MH, CT and Plezzy.

Or if there's 4 of you a return taxi from Blackburn to Preston should only work out at about 9 or 10 quid per head. Best to book in advance and arrange for a pick up away from the ground coming back.

If you can't get on the train why not march?

That's what they used to do in 60's, plenty of pubs on the way also, job done.

Our lot have decided against the train due to the shear numbers going over. We are now planning meeting at a pub and have booked a 12 seater mini bus to take us over

I'll be trekking over from Cardiff - a tortuous 5 hours of trains each way.

Really think we can win this one to get the Lambert reign up and running, so I'll go for a 2-0 win

I know it's a bit of a long shot but does anyone know of anyone/is selling 2Adult tickets to the game? Much appreciated.

I only need 1 ticket now pm me if you know of spares or anyone selling (:

I'm small enough, but to ugly to pass as a kid

If you get the kids ticket you can always upgrade it to an adult. ... its getting the seat itself that matters.

Loving it!

I've not been this excited about going to a game in a long time.

People desperate to get hold of any spares, trying to get tickets in the home areas with PR postcodes, new manager, renewed optimism....

Roll on Saturday. What a match to take my little un to her 2nd away game, and I'd promised her we'd go before the season even started!

Where's best to park on matchdays round there? I'm assuming they'll have the 'parking police' on the retail park?
