Husky Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 UK broadband customers IP addresses are not fixed* *For the perennially angry this is referring to Home Broadband providers. That would explain why sometimes I'm "in" Stockport.

Gav Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 He is from a small town Gujarat I believe, used to work in Pune I wasn't the one that questioned his location in the first instance, but if he's genuine then I apologies to the lad.
47er Posted September 4, 2015 Author Posted September 4, 2015 I know that and you know that but the clappers are scared to say boo. No Abbey, its even worse than that, they don't see there is a need to say "boo". The "Ewood experience" is even more enjoyable for them because there is more room, the beer queues are smaller and the bogs don't stink as much. We are not dying in their view, just returning to our natural state.

I hope this is allowed in the new rules because freedom of speech and alternate views from the management is now not allowed .
JBiz Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 It's because I refuse to anything in the ground or the shop until the lunes go . . You do realise this won't impact the owners at all? If more people did the same as you, the only people who would feel the impact, is those losing jobs from local areas and a minimal knock on the clubs chances of increasing the turnover to help. I understand why you'd choose this, and as with all replies I'm not having a pop, but it seems almost the definition of "cutting your nose off to spite your face!" If you want a pint, get one! Some scruffy kid will enjoy the minimum wage to serve it you. If we all stop, they'd knock it on the head and the local area would suffer far more than Balajis ammunition supplies.
Rover_Shaun Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 It's a principle that Abbey sticks to. A bit like not watching Big Brother. Or should we watch it to save the jobs of those that make it? It's a weak arguement either way
JBiz Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 It's not difficult to see why you'd see it that way Shaun.

Sometimes I think you post simply to get a reaction, well it's worked this time.Have you ever done anything on principle? Do you have principles? Why are you calling the people that serve 'scruffy kids'? You sound like a bit of a t0sser JBizzle, minimum wage or not, these people are no better or no worse than anyone else. Give me a shout when you come down from your ivory tower and we'll debate further.

Which supplies are those ?
JBiz Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 No need Gav. Why on earth do I need to defend the reasoning for my post to you when they are fundamentally the same as anyone else's. A bit of a tosser? As you well ignore, the club employees people from the surrounding area and the more facilities that aren't used, the more of those people will be looking for work elsewhere. Not caring about that at all would make someone a tosspot Gav. I hope you see the irony in saying I post things for a reaction and then making personal insults. Now no more personal crap please can we stick to forum guidelines. I have a view, it's not anything else, end of. Which supplies are those ? Gold tipped Mac 10mm
Rover_Shaun Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Why are Rovers employees worth more than the countless who worked in the town centre pubs in their pomp? The pub stopped giving the people what they want and a lot of landlords took the absolute mick. A striking parallel. Business is business as it is for us all. We are all one bad decision from the dole.

If thwaites drinkers boycotted their ale to harm the brewery, the last few pubs would close.Like I originally said, I can understand people's mindset after what we've been through, however it will hasten the further demise if everyone did it.

You won't change my mind . We also used to have a Christmas party at ewood as well . The wife wasn't happy when I said no more until the slum dogs leave but we now go elsewhere .Why are the bar staff scruffy ? I saw you in the box that day and Barry manor and worsen sprang to mind
tomphil Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Ah, you mean like the one referred to in this article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1347547/The-Bollywood-billionaires-Blackburn.html Just reading that back shows she's not really a duck egg, even more evident when investigating her business background. Just how much bad advice would she really tolerate ? Not much I don't reckon. That article also shows how wide of the mark Harris is on a lot of things Venky like recently trying to tell everyone they are worth 2 billion. No debt ? Cash buys ? Don't think so Nick lad.

I was referring to you calling the bar staff, absolutely no need for it, wasn't even relevant. I'm a bit grumpy today, so if I offended you I apologies, but let's not slag off the bar staff.
JBiz Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Scruffy kid man, was a loose term for the youth that tend to do many of the temp jobs, I did the same when I was a scruffy youth! Had no idea that was what had offended!

Claytons Left Boot Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Punerover has gone very quiet after the questions I put to him.

We are not dying in their view, just returning to our natural state. I agree. Natural state is bunkum. We have been robbed blind. We should have been secure in the Premiership to take advantage of the huge increase in revenue...an increase everyone concerned knew was coming!. It feels like a slow death to me

Had no idea that was what had offended!Never heard anyone use that term to describe kids in temp jobs, my son has a temp job, he's never heard it either, but he did say maybe you're American with a passion for Green Day?I've no idea, but we move on.

My girlfriend, aka the 'loveliest barmaid in Leyland', would surely take offence! I jest, but a better choice (or an ommittence) of words needed perhaps Jbizzle. Could offend some, particularly those who pint-pull full-time (she does it part-time alongside her studies so doubt she'd give a monkey's).
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Ah, you mean like the one referred to in this article http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1347547/The-Bollywood-billionaires-Blackburn.html It's simply embarrassing reading that trumped up story...virtually everything they have said or done has turned to shyte.
Gav Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 To be fair Nick Harris quickly saw through the charade and held them to account, chased them and made life very uncomfortable.
