Leonard Venkhater Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 How the hell is Brendan Rodgers in the odd list for next manager. If Southgate gets it it's more of the same institutional mismanagement. Where is the next Terry Venables, or even Bobby Robson. As much as I dislike the bloke surely Harry Redknapp must be an option. Personally I'd give it to Allardyce but he'd just be rounded on from day one. But until something changes in the FA, it almost doesn't matter. What a @#/? week. SEM clients?

arbitro Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Very true. But no point bringing in young coaches and grooming them for the senior job then not give it them. Southgate with Clement and Holland would be very decent. Dont want another overpriced foriegn manager. Very surprised Gary Neville has quit aswell Neville is heading back to easy street with Sky. This managing lark and being criticised is too much for him.
Salgado Is Still A Hero Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Very true. But no point bringing in young coaches and grooming them for the senior job then not give it them. Southgate with Clement and Holland would be very decent. Dont want another overpriced foriegn manager. Very surprised Gary Neville has quit aswell The likes of Italy and Spain hire ex-Juventus and Real Madrid managers. Why do you want a guy whose last job was being fired from Middlesbrough? Do down the experienced route with Allardyce or Redknapp or go with a younger option like Howe. Either way, managers who have actually been successful in the past should be the number one priority.
Moderation Lead K-Hod Posted June 27, 2016 Moderation Lead Posted June 27, 2016 If you're looking left field then Howe or Dyche. If you want a safe pair of hands then Big Sam.Bingo. Howe or Allardyce would be my shout. We'll just have to teach someone how to do a long throw!
Backroom DE. Posted June 27, 2016 Backroom Posted June 27, 2016 Howe or Allardyce for me. Think Howe could get a young team going properly, whilst Allardyce would get us winning even if we had to do it the ugly way. Roy was a mistake from day one and it was always going to end like this. Relieved he's gone, but I have no faith in the FA appointing the right man.
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Rashford only given a few minutes. Seriously the only thing to explain that is if Woy got spiked with horse tranquillizers
joey_big_nose Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 To be honest weve had a lot of different managers since our last decent tournament in 98 and theyve all been below standard. At the heart of it is something other than the manager.

chaddyrovers Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Allardyce or Hoddle must be talked to about the job.
G Somerset Rover Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Henry Winter @henrywinter 10m10 minutes ago FA insists Hodgson composed his resignation statement in the dressing-room after the match When he should have been putting a king-sized rocket up the players' backsides? Sounds feasible with him.
Backroom DE. Posted June 27, 2016 Backroom Posted June 27, 2016 It's been a "fantastic journey", apparently. I suppose if you exclude those pesky tournaments it was pretty good.
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Hart's a lucky boy the rest of them were so @#/?. You can't expect to win anything with a @#/? keeper. I mean I can't imagine the German keeper making a shocking mistake that costs a goal even once never mind every single game.

bob fleming Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Allardyce or Hoddle must be talked to about the job. Not Southgate then? Or was that 10 mins ago? Hoddle? Did you not just have to listen to him for 90 mins? That was insipid wasn't it?
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Ian Wright: "I just can't stop thinking about Space Jam. It's like the Monsters nicked their talent or something." Yeah. That was funny. Some of the comments on BBC on-line are quite funny too. I daren't turn 606 on though.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Dyche for England. Come on FA, do it.
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 'Don't Panic!' England 1-2 Iceland Danny Mills Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live It was like watching Dad's Army, with Mainwaring in charge.
chaddyrovers Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Not Southgate then? Or was that 10 mins ago? Hoddle? Did you not just have to listen to him for 90 mins? That was insipid wasn't it? I think you have to talk to Allardyce. Good man manager and tactical. But Southgate should be shortlist after his achievement with the 21's. Southgate and coaching staff are good. Could they do well at this level. I dont know
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 'England with the same rebuilding excuses' England 1-2 Iceland Chris Waddle Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 live They'll now say we'll be building a team for Qatar. And then we'll be building a team for Timbuktu.
adsfortheblues Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Pardew best option for England, however they usually like a yes man, therefore step forward Gaz Southgate
Husky Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 ICELAND KNOCK ENGLAND OUT Dan Walker on 5 live We might have to rename 606 as 999 tonight...
Baz Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Not Southgate then? Or was that 10 mins ago? Hoddle? Did you not just have to listen to him for 90 mins? That was insipid wasn't it? Hoddles did well with England, his teams where attacking and had he not been a loon who thinks disabled people are being punished for errors in a previous life, may have done a lot better than Sven did with some of our best squads in my lifetime. He cannot be re-appointed. I'd go for Big Sam, but he's not a hero in the southern media, so god knows who we'll end up with. Southgate? That has to be a joke, sooner have Gazza.
roverandout Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Waddle always has a downer on England, Geordie @#/?, he couldn't stand anyone matching his great 1990 team
BlueMonday Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Oh well, at least they'll get their 2 weeks in Dubai before preseason training. Its not right having to work through your holidays just to win a trophy.
