I hope there's no complications. As I've said it's a massive gamble to sell guaranteed goals at this stage. However I'm now under the impression that Rhodes is a bit of a prick.

To not agree terms, then a day later take so long to get to the club you kicked up a fuss about at the club that's paying your substantial wages, is being a prick.

A privelidged prick at that.

And I'm a Rhodes fan. The ones who wanted rid must really think he's a prick.

Surprised they can put a promotion clause in the contract when we have to play bthem twice yet this season. Might be worthwhile giving them a helping hand for a £2M bonus.

Well this is all very depressing. Flogging our best (and possibly only) goalthreat without having any time to replace him.

It's going to be a long slog from here on in. Let's hope Lambert has a trick or 2 up his sleeve.

The squad and club will be better for this move. Rhodes couldn't stay after the weekend and £13m is far too good to turn down. Shame it all came about as it did. But in the end it needed to happen.

We have enough in the squad to stay up. Rhodes has been out of form for 3 months so in terms of replacing his goals, in the short term, shouldn't be too much of an issue. Stay up in the next 3 months and then spend in the summer.

That goal this weekend is going to be a stinger.

In reality the lad has earned his move fair play just a shame it's ended on a relatively sour note.

Other teams used to look at our team sheet and fear Rhodes, don't think anyone stands out anymore as a real threat.

That may well be a good thing if we're now underestimated. It's how we operate best.
