Norbert Rassragr Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Yet some fans were happy under stable Gary... Stability my arse The first year or so was OK, but then it was a slow sinking. Coyle's magic has just let the club ride the 'divine wind' into the decks.

G Somerset Rover Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 QPR won. We're 3 points from safety while Cardiff have a game in hand. Getting very very desperate. Still, Coyle says we won't go down so...
RevidgeBlue Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Can't see Cardiff slipping any further backwards under Warnock. Wolves should just about survive as well so you'd imagine our only hope is to finish above Rotherham, Wigan and Burton.
tomphil Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 It would be nice to gazump Wigan and see them down instead of us. Karma seeing as despite not being rivals they reveled in it in 2012.
Cherry Blue Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Does Cheston still work at Rovers? Plenty of "interviews" on LT with Coyle but nothing from this man.
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 It's a desperately grim situation.
tomphil Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Does Cheston still work at Rovers? Plenty of "interviews" on LT with Coyle but nothing from this man. Apparently the jumped up little nobody only likes to keep office hours. Doubt he's anywhere near away games the stooge.

Wolves should just about survive as well so you'd imagine our only hope is to finish above Rotherham, Wigan and Burton. It's do able in the normal scheme of things. Trouble is nothing about this club is normal. A normal club would bring a couple of " winners " in.
Mike Graham Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 I wonder what the odds are on Rovers playing Chorley in league football within 5 seasons? Worth £50 or so.
47er Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 I wonder what the odds are on Rovers playing Chorley in league football within 5 seasons? Worth £50 or so. and losing.....
JHRover Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Isn't Cheston on his hols until the 3rd? I think someone put that on here the other day, though I wasn't sure whether it was a joke. If he is on his hols then what a situation we're in when our only director isn't working during the busiest time of the season when games are coming thick and fast and we need to prepare for the January transfer window to strengthen our squad.....
tomphil Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 He's given over the Darwen End and as many corporate boxes as possible, sorted an away fans fanzone and charged cat A+ so his jobs done really.
Amo Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 It's not like Cheston does anything, anyway. He can work on his PowerPoint presentations on the go.
tomphil Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 Empty home seats Away fanzone Fill boxes 7000 Geordies Cat A+ Happy New Year see you on the 3rd, this is Mike signing out.
OJRovers Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 So there's an away fanzone but nothing for the home fans?
Cherry Blue Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 So there's an away fanzone but nothing for the home fans? but he clearly had an agenda!
Stuart Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 So there's an away fanzone but nothing for the home fans? Please tell me this is a joke.
tomphil Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I'm sure the home fanzone is still there i'm just highlighting what magic Mike has to come up with to justify his position. All lighthearted assumption of course.
Stuart Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 An away fanzone? Is this normal for away fans. I remember when we used to do everything we could to gain a psychological edge at home games. Instead the club has officially turned this into a 24th home game for the Geordies. We are selling any player with value regardless of the consequences and paying a manager to relegate us but, no, its vital that we make as much money as possible from the Newcastle away fans. As someone said earlier, the cost of relegation eclipses the current penny-pinching. Joke owners Joke board Joke manager We are being made absolute mugs of. Can't those idiots at the club not see that they are alienating the very fans they claim to be wanting to keep on side. I would urge anyone who have donated or loaned any memorabilia to the club to demand it back at the earliest opportunity before it goes on the cat boot sale. Cheston Out.
perthblue02 Posted January 1, 2017 Author Posted January 1, 2017 Rush job built in time for first match of 2017 at Blackburn Rovers, cellar and 5 counters - away fans now have their own barl https://twitter.com/roberto6cave/status/815504667425800193 Good forward thinking by the club, in 5 years time they can just transport it up to blacksnape and use it as a changing room Edit: just had a look at their website, what they have done at Anfield looks smart, a row of street food containers http://whitecrate.co/#projects

I posted that in response to an email I sent him I got an 'out of office until January 3rd' email by return.

Whatever they make in crap ale sales they'll have to give to the Lancashire Constabulary to keep them in check. Blackburn Rovers FC, the club that values its away fans MORE than the home faithful.
MGAndy Posted January 1, 2017 Posted January 1, 2017 I can confirm that this contraption has been parked behind the Darwen End together with Fan Zone signs. Seems to me this has probably come from a "brain"storming meeting on ways to increase revenue to counter reduced gate receipts from home support. Forgetting the one off Geordie invasion this is certainly a permanent fixture. If they came up with this as a worthwhile idea it surely indicates they make good coin from the home fan zone. Rovers fans should boycott the home fan zone. It was a good job Elton got through 2016 without popping his cloggs or Cheston's budget would have been screwed. Next the Darwen End Rovers fans will be moved on police advice & safety reasons to avoid conflict with the away fanzone. Closely followed by the summer closure of the Riverside.
