Did Called Coyle head coach in his Rovers player interview

Lets just hope this new way of doing things is actually for the right reason having been shafted by managers constantly bringing in crap on full time contracts. Hopefully it gets right up Coyles hooter and scuppers a few of his little jobs for pals scenario.

I've been told he has a history of not playing guys he hasn't brought in himself so it could be his undoing.

I'm pretty sure he scored for Wednesday against us at Ewood last season.

He did.

I posted a youtube video of his goals last season yesterday

Posted at weekend that I thought Lowe would be the surprise departure - gossip was that there was a club in for him.

Blackburn Harriers?

Could he not get in a very average Sheffield Wednesday team chaddy.

Good grief JAL. I know you're steadfastly trying to remain miserable in the face of a rare glimmer of good news but come on, give the lad a chance!

I recall people being disparaging about Gallagher's alleged lack of ability when he was signed and he's done quite well.

So Rovers proudly announce the loan with a view to a buy in the summer.

Sheffield Wednesday's local reporter then kiboshes that account and soon after Rovers change their story with no mention of a permanent deal?

Sounds about right for this mob. Left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.

Bearing in mind everyone was confidently predicting that we wouldn't be signing anyone this window, isn't that stretching to find something to moan about ever so slightly?

It will be interesting though if he has been signed ovet Coyle' s head to see if Coyle plays him or ignores him out of peevishness.

From Wednesday forum.

Good luck to him hope he scores the goals to get Blackburn out the situation they are in, showed in flashes for us what he is capable of got a great turn of pace and quick feet, looked especially good round the time of the arsenal league cup game, but his poor ability to hold the ball up and lack of work rate was his undoing.

Not what we need right now, but good look to him.

One proper midfield general would do me above everything.

Lack of work rate and can't hold the ball up? Sounds like Rhodes. Lets hope he scores as many.

I think it's 'stretching' to think that Rovers putting up misleading info regarding a potential permanent transfer, at a time when our squad has been decimated of quality contracted players, isn't an issue.

Especially when it has only come to light because the Wendies local hack decided to ask the question.

Rovers rejected a bid from Barnsley for Mahoney

Link?

Regardless, Coyle needs to play him and if merited get him on a new contract before he gets fed up and disappears elsewhere. Coyle's mantra of 'giving youngsters a chance and having a record of developing them ' is, like most of his ramblings, utter nonsense.

Technically we haven't signed him.  He is on loan (with no option).  When we spend some money we can get giddy Rev.

" Great turn of pace ". Even Rhodes mum wouldn't have said that about him.

Without dragging up THAT debate, it was interesting listening to Carragher after Liverpool were beaten by Southampton.  He was talking about Sturridge and saying that due to his injuries he can no longer run in behind.  And that he is no good at holding the ball up so is in the side now as a finisher.  If he doesn't score, then Liverpool are playing with ten men which they can't afford to do.

No comparisons at all there.
