Colt Seavers Posted Saturday at 11:58 Posted Saturday at 11:58 All four were far, far better in their respective positions than anyone currently. And this was a 3rd Division side 4 Quote

If we do go down this season I’m not convinced the current lot are good enough to get us back up either. Edited Sunday at 09:23 by Tyrone Shoelaces 2 Quote

With Branagan ,Keeley, Faz and Kendall in the team ,not many of our present players would fancy it ! Edited Monday at 13:49 by Waggy76 7 Quote

Upside Down Posted Tuesday at 22:37 Posted Tuesday at 22:37 (edited) Don't know if anyone else has read this, not about Rovers specifically but it highlights how much of a proper football town Blackburn is and how pivotal the town was in the development of the game. https://www.thefootballhistoryboys.com/2023/09/blackburn-olympic-footballs-most.html?m=1 Edited Tuesday at 22:38 by Upside Down 1 Quote
Members rog of the rovers Posted 4 hours ago Members Posted 4 hours ago Things get so existential when Rovers are on a bad run, particularly under the current regime. This song has been in my head all week, its hauntingly nostalgic tone and Ol Blue Eyes singing his heart out. Has struck a cord, particularly the lines "Cos the old team just isn't playing...and the new team hardly tries. And the sky has got so cloudy, when it used to be so clear." The 150th Anniversary is almost making it all worse!! This time will pass.......he says in hope! 1 Quote

Whys there a lump in my throat 😥 Those words hotdogs n beer resonate with me. me stood with a pint and my daughter eating a hotdog watching a club disintegrate. Before our eyes, feeling ripped off. Pissed off and out of pocket 1 Quote

It's strange because in my head I'm watching the game sat in the stands ...but it black and white. The old boys playing their hearts out...grainy images of moustached gentlemen heading a ball, thousands of people crammed in waving their hats... then the pitch is empty. The stands are empty. Right back to work. Possibly the worst week in a while for a Rovers fan 2 Quote
