One thing to say on this and granted we don’t know the extent of this yet. If as you say, this has come about, as a result of the fans forum explosion. Here we are after one meeting, where we had hard hitting minutes, yet we have some people saying it’s unfair having a go about version 1 or minutes from previous meetings. Would this have happened, had version 1 been allowed to stand? Edited yesterday at 05:10 by lraC Typo Quote

I have a feeling that there are people on the payroll that shouldn’t be, but that’s just my gut feeling. 1 Quote

I guess the key is finding a way to turn the pressure up to the point they see opening the books as their best option. 2 Quote
LeftWinger Posted yesterday at 17:14 Posted yesterday at 17:14 Where will this be played? With the media interest in women's football and our withdrawal from the league - maybe a few thousand turning up for this with "Venky's Out" banners would get media attention? 1 Quote

DeeCee Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Does anyone know where the podcast is that GM was releasing please? Quote
DutchRover Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Did the FF minutes ever get published? If not then someone must be blocking it for some reason. Quote

The set that GM wrote having decided that the first version was inaccurate and then the clubs version, having removed the contentious elements of version 2. 1 Quote

I don't think it has been done yet, but wait for Glen to confirm that. Also, he might well have been tied up with what came to light over the weekend, but again, please wait for proper confirmation. 1 Quote

G Somerset Rover Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago The more I think about it, a poor start to the season may be a good thing in the long run as King rat would love nothing better than to hide behind some good results just as he’s close to the brink. 1 Quote

The Soccer Saturday panel tore into the fans at every opportunity. Worst fans in the league, poison, toxic, spoiled etc. I nearly put a big screen through one Saturday afternoon I was so incensed. Then came them rolling out the smear attack on the fans with Jerome Anderson. Not watched SSN since. They were PR campaign against us and we've never recovered we get no sympathy from the wider football world. 2 Quote

It would be interesting to see how close to the Sheff Wed situation we would be had it not been for the decision to liquidate £45 million of playing assets to pay the bills. That particular 'strategy' is coming to a shuddering halt now and at best they've another £5 million to cash in this summer before the well has run dry. The only hope then for the regime is that one or more of the cheap foreign punts / academy lads turns out to be a hidden gem and attracts big money interest - a stretch with the state and length of contract we are offering people. Whether the regime here would allow it to get to that state not sure - we're going to find out soon enough - my prediction is that Sheff Wed's problems will be behind them and they'll be under ambitious new ownership before then. 1 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's almost a carbon copy of the last big fire sale that lead to relegation when you stand back and look at it and of course the younger Venky apologists in the fanbase won't have seen that or won't really remember it and how it all started. Add in the revolving head coach and staff door and directors and staff leaving or being shoved out whilst inside the club a novice from nowhere suddenly seems to be running everything. Only difference this time is players sold aren't being replaced by old men on tens of thousands per week. End result will probably turn out the same sooner or later though. Quote
