Mashed Potatoes Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago As I said some weeks ago the Remembrance Day game was an inappropriate stage for protests - pleased to see that others listened. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago It was because of the 150, if the Remembrance Game had been on the Southampton weekend it would have seen dissent in the stands. Still none the wiser what relevance it has anyway. But Masher going to Masher. Quote

I stand in NO1 and most of the people in there were only interested in singing about Eustace, and booing BBD. There are some proper thickos in there and some of the stuff I hear shouted I wouldn't repeat online as it makes me ashamed to be a Rovers fan sometimes. Quote

... Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Thought the booing of Eustace was embarrassing and my guess is that it was the 'venkys in' crowd who dont know their arse from their elbow. Upper jack, some booing Weimann who scored a clipper for us against Burnley I applauded as did others but just utter tasteless. 1 Quote

SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) The reality is we still have fans who will not have a bad word said about the Pune wasters...everyone else is fair game mind. Their non attendance today was another snub to the Club and Fans, they were quick enough to show their mugs when the Queen came calling though. Embarrassing People. They get what they deserve. Quote

It was good that Weimann had a warm welcome from most in the JW Upper. Edited 3 hours ago by Mike Graham 2 Quote

Also from the Blackburn End, when he was warming up - even got a couple of songs (and reciprocated with some applause a couple of times). 2 Quote

Anyone that scores against the six fingered should get nothing but praise. Very pleased to hear Goin down the Bolton Road ring loudly. Gave me goosebumps thinking about all those that came before us 🔵⚪️🌹 2 Quote

They're just absolutely pathetic excuses for human beings. Not Rovers fans, never have been and never will be. One of the most embarrassing things of the last 15 years has been the fans themselves. Just pathetic. Paying money to venkys and sitting there in silence is bad enough, but to actually defend them is beyond the pale. Where would we be without venkys? The premier league you fucking brain dead cretin. 2 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Yep, the fact that the abuse was directed towards a manager who did well for us until he couldnt work for these terrible owners/board anymore, and also some players who put in good service for us was pretty pathetic. Let down by Eustace? Get a grip. As mentioned above, misdirected. 3 Quote

Im sure any protests were shelved when they saw your post which made absolutely no sense. Unless protests had been planned during the minute silence. Quote

For a lot of people, their identity is wrapped up in their chosen team. Any criticism or negativity feels like a personal attack. Challenging the club means challenging themselves, when the status quo is easier to support. Also, we Brits are an historically passive island of people. Keep calm & carry on, stiff upper lip, etc. We generally keep our heads down and hope someone else sorts out the mess. 1 Quote
Mattyblue Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago Yep they really struggle with the fact there is a regime running ‘the club’ that needs removing for the good of it, the regime is the club to them. Quote
