It was because of the 150, if the Remembrance Game had been on the Southampton weekend it would have seen dissent in the stands.

Still none the wiser what relevance it has anyway. But Masher going to Masher.

Not even ‘I don’t care about Venky’s…’ from NO1 when 2-0 down.

I stand in NO1 and most of the people in there were only interested in singing about Eustace, and booing BBD. There are some proper thickos in there and some of the stuff I hear shouted I wouldn't repeat online as it makes me ashamed to be a Rovers fan sometimes.

As I said some weeks ago the Remembrance Day game was an inappropriate stage for protests - pleased to see that others listened.

But appropriate for fire shooting up all around the veterans?

Thought the booing of Eustace was embarrassing and my guess is that it was the 'venkys in' crowd who dont know their arse from their elbow.

Upper jack, some booing Weimann who scored a clipper for us against Burnley I applauded as did others but just utter tasteless.

The reality is we still have fans who will not have a bad word said about the Pune wasters...everyone else is fair game mind.

Their non attendance today was another snub to the Club and Fans, they were quick enough to show their mugs when the Queen came calling though.

Embarrassing People.

I’ve long since accepted this. They get what they deserve.

Agreed re the senseless booing.  It was good that Weimann had a warm welcome from most in the JW Upper.

JE probably already feels hugely justified in his move - clearly, he wanted alignment with the owners and a show of ambition.

Also from the Blackburn End, when he was warming up - even got a couple of songs (and reciprocated with some applause a couple of times).

Anyone that scores against the six fingered should get nothing but praise.

Very pleased to hear Goin down the Bolton Road ring loudly. Gave me goosebumps thinking about all those that came before us 🔵🌹

Im sure any protests were shelved when they saw your post which made absolutely no sense.

Unless protests had been planned during the minute silence.

For a lot of people, their identity is wrapped up in their chosen team. Any criticism or negativity feels like a personal attack. Challenging the club means challenging themselves, when the status quo is easier to support.

Also, we Brits are an historically passive island of people. Keep calm & carry on, stiff upper lip, etc. We generally keep our heads down and hope someone else sorts out the mess.

Yep they really struggle with the fact there is a regime running ‘the club’ that needs removing for the good of it, the regime is the club to them.

Let down how?

We discussed all this when we played Derby last year.

Eustace leaving us mid season when chasing a playoff place, lying when he was approach by Derby, taking that Wolves game when he was on his way to Derby. Etc.

Even yesterday he could have clapped Rovers fans but ignored us again.

Weimann got a couple of chants. Positive ones.

Let down by Eustace? Get a grip. As mentioned above, misdirected.

As ever you defended him when he left. We discussed this at the time. Round 2? No thanks, utter pointless

Why would he clap us when the boos are raining down on him. He owes us nothing.

He left because he had a backbone and didn't want to work under the regimes parameters should of been applauded off the pitch

Owes the fans alot. Would have shown a backbone and appreciation to the fans. Yes the fans. No I didnt boo him cos he made his decision and we moved on but that's doesn't matter its still annoyed how he left and lied to the fans when the approach was made.

Yet he had no problems joining the regime tho

When he joined we had Waggott and Broughton running the show.

I've made my views on Waggott clear before and others don't rate Broughton but at least there was some facade of professionalism and footballing nous there.

Within 3 months Broughton had gone, Waggott pushed aside and someone had parachuted Gestede into the top position despite having no CV or track record to warrant it.

It has since become clear that Gestede is being employed to oversee massive cutbacks and a revolving door policy of predominantly foreign players.

We are about as far away from what Eustace walked into as possible.

Pretty reasonable to suggest that the goalposts moved and what he signed up for wasn't what ended up happening.
