I think a question should be raised at the next Forum meeting as to what the difference is between a Fans Forum meeting and a Supporters Consultation meeting.

There is a difference because the former have taken place at Rovers going back decades, whereas the latter were introduced a few years ago following measures introduced by the EFL, took place for a couple of years with Tony Mowbray turning up with tales of life in 70s Teesside, and then as with Shareholder meetings were ditched during the Covid era under the guise of 'safety' and neither have been held or even mentioned since.

Perhaps Pasha, Sufi or Talbot could explain why the club decided not to resume those meetings after Covid.

That's because the shysters spotted an opportunity, as they often do, to save time and money and save themselves a job by cutting those meetings and lumping everything into one with the Fans Forum

isn't the fans forum made up of people representing different groups and asking questions to people from Rovers?

By accident rather than by design. It doesn’t replicate the open forum format, which is what happens with supporter consultation.

Maybe so but different members represent different groups. We can still ask questions through those members and get answers we want. Might not be answer we like but its on the record

Have you been an open supporters meeting at Rovers?

I have. I’ve also been to Fans Forum meetings. They are completely different formats.

Too much emphasis on whether you're The Judean People's Front or The People's Front of Judea in the last few posts.

What matters is what is said to the Club in the meetings and their response to it.

If the minutes aren't being released in timely fashion and/or are not being recorded accurately to protect the Club, ( i.e. any dissent not recorded) then that isn't acceptable and just goes to show the box ticking nature of the exercise from the Club's perspective.

Surely there's a duty of care to the supporters?

Surely there's an SLA on these things.

I think all will come out in the open very soon....

From what we've read from GM and others, there's nothing groundbreaking coming out of the minutes, when they are finally published.

I doubt there is an SLA. If there was they wouldn't stick to it anyway.

There is a documented agreement between the club and WATR in the form of the MoU which states that there should be a minimum of 4 meetings a year.

The club signed this agreement (on the pitch at Ewood) , tried to take all the credit for it, based their Fan Engagement Plan on it, won the EFL fan engagement award .because of it and yet there have been no meetings in the whole of 2025.

Pasha has no interest in what fans have to say. He has hit his season ticket revenue targets and that is all he really cares about.

The delay is down to members of fans forum and nothing to do with the club. Its been over 2 weeks since the meeting but still no minutes
